There was a lot of smoke in the air.
Taurtis grinned as Sam passed him J's pen. He took a hit, turning towards Sam as he blew the smoke out.
Sam blinked when the smoke hit him in the face, giggling.
Taurtis's heart was beating as he stared at Sam, the look of his friend smiling and laughing and being so happy was too much for him. He was overwhelmed with pure adoration and love for his friend.
Sam leaned in to whisper something to Taurtis, but was cut off by Taurtis closing the gap between the two of them.
Sam blinked in surprise, but kissed back, humming softly.
There was a loud whooping coming from J, which made Taurtis pull back in shock. His cheeks were flushed red as he realized what just happened.
Sam wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, grinning. "And they say I don't have rizz."
