Call it a lack of faith in humanity or a distrust of others but that didn’t excuse the fact that none of them knew each other. Meaning there’d be less remorse than if they knew each other beforehand. There isn’t any reason or rhyme to why they wouldn’t, it’d be easy to grab and knife and target anyone they felt the least guilty about killing, i.e Naegi.His mind was spiraling and he could breath again, he would always be thankful for being in the back, away from everyone else’s eyes.

What’s the point in even trying to break through the solid iron. If anything it’d just cause more damage, if they do break through it then whatever’s out there has access to us.
If they can’t, then we’d have an injury we can’t fix or heal, maybe he was just lazy, pathetic, maybe he was just weak willed. but Naegi didn’t really care, it was better to just lay low in his corner and hope no one paid enough attention to him to think that he was a good victim to choose.
But the stupid Handbook’s were interesting emotionally to say the least, unnerving how they had his information but at this point he’s beginning to think the government is behind this somehow,
