    Summary

Since birth, it was his destiny to be one of the first-ever locomotives to have achieved a speed of one-hundred miles per hour. Flying Scotsman has been the star of the country since then. A ceremony is held by the mayor of Europe, to mark in his honour an extraordinary moment in history. All are there for a special unveiling; his luxurious forever home. Everybody loves the Flying Scotsman, except a nineteen year-old-girl, Beverly Cole, and he has yet to discover why.

Stick around in this book starring Flying Scotsman's magnificent real life from the beginning to the end, and everything in between from his first derailment to the rise in fame, to his retirement when it's the end of the era of steam to his days now spent at a National Railway Museum.

He's in a world of pure luck, and boy, does he have it on his side.
