Foolish wasn't human, everyone knew that. The second they landed on the island he was immediately one of the odd ones out.
Of course, he wasnt the only one. I mean, it's hard not the see the enormous black and purple wings on Philza and Jaiden, or the subtle bear ears behind Spreen's hat that he was sure trying to hide.
Even though the occasional green goo on the ground after falling from someones head or the spider legs that retracted from the youngest members body (even Foolish, himself, doesnt know how that works). He was still the most oddest one of them all.
Because even with the hybrids special characteristics, they all passed as human. Foolish, however, couldn't.
Even if his golden yellow skin and bright green, almost emerald, like eyes magically dissapeared, his long shark tail and teeth were dead giveaway to what he is.
A shark and totem hybrid. Probably one of the more weirder hybrids so to speak. Foolish doesn't even want to know how he was made.
He has all the abilities a shark would have while also having the prowess of a totem, so essentially he was just an immortal shark that lives on ground.
It sounds great on paper until one day he realizes he, like any other shark, needs large amount of water around him. That's mainly why he takes baths instead of showers nowadays. (and because its just more fun in general but people didnt need to know that)
So when he decided to build a huge dragon, he built it on water so he can easily jump in the lake and swim freely without worry of dehydration.
However, that was weeks ago. The dragon that was just a blueprint in his mind now stood with all its glory, protecting a tower in between with a crystal laying on top. On top of that, a beautiful pathway leading to his waystone and a cute garden made by his very own daugther.

It was noon when Vegetta finishes building. Nothing too fancy or big as he would hope but a decent blueprint for the future him to work on. As the sun got higher and higher into the sky, the builder had no motivation to start on the construction.
While resting in his tower, it dawned on him that he hasn't seen his lover at all today, much less his daugther. The totem told him earlier that day that Leo was with him yesterday and they slept at his, now, finished home.
Sighing to himself, he cleaned up and took off his armour, grabbed his warpstone and teleported to Foolish's house.
He knew about the terraforming around the dragon from other members but he didn't expect the most gorgeous garden he'd ever seen. It was surrounded by trees and plants and yet it didn't feel too conflicting.
The sound of water rushing caught his ears as he looks around and sees a beautiful pond filled with marine wildlife. Taking a closer look he could ever see the shark he gave Foolish as a gift.
While staring at the shark he felt a small tug on his leg, turning around, he was a small girl with black hair and a cap with a mushroom on top, smiling at him.
"Papa Vegetta!" She smiled as he read what was written.
"Mija!" He took her in his arms, hugging her and gave her a kiss on the forehead, tilting her cap from the sudden action. "Como estas?"
She let go from the hug and nodded cheerfully. Taking her tablet out she wrote on it and showed it to older builder.
"Do you want a tour?" Pointing to the oasis around them. "I made this whole thing!"
"All by yourself? Really? I don't know if that's true."
The child giggled and turned to her tablet once again. "Dada Foolich was lazing around, so I did all the hardwork!"
"Lazing around? That does sound like your father to me. Speaking of, where is he?"
"He said he needed to do something personal. He would be near the tower if i wanted to call for him."
Vegetta walked out of the garden, still carrying Leonarda in his arms. He turned to the direction of the dragon, watching over the garden.
Realizing there was now a bridge to the tower and stairs leading to it, he put down Leo and they walked side by side trying to find the totem.
While walking on the bridge, Vegetta looked behind him and gazed at his boyfriend and daughters hard work. Smiling a bit, thinking about the love he has in his heart for the two.
Foolish was his first love. It was first admiration between the two, constructing amazing builds within the first week of staying on the island was worth his respect and even more after that.
Soon blossoming to a close friendship, despite the language barrier they somehow always understood what the other needed.
Overtime, he slowly develop feelings for this weird yellow man with a large tail but he kept it hidden as much as he could.
Well, that was before getting Leonarda, after that, something happened between the two.
Friendly exchanges turned into loving glances when they thought the other wasn't looking. The brushing of hands changed into holding with a kiss on the knuckles. Giggles to kisses and hugging to embracing.
Oh, he was smitten for that man.
Leonarda being there didn't help either, she had him wrapped around her little fingers. You can't blame him when she's just that adorable.
Suddenly, something he catches something frm the corner of his eye. Water splashing in the middle of the body of water. Without any hesitation, he pushed Leonarda behind him and tried to grab his axe before a hard tug made him stop.
"Leo, what's wrong?"
She points to the area where water randomly splashed and shakes her head. Quickly taking her device out.
Don't hurt him! That's Dada!"
Vegetta blinks at his daugther, she may be a bit ditzy at times but she wasn't one to lie, espcially not about a situation he, clearly, found serious.
"Foolish? But why is he in the wat- Can he not swim?" Vegetta looks at the lake worriedly, thinking his lover had somehow gotten himself stuck, maybe even drowning as they speak.
A small 'huh' breaks his thoughts as he sees Leonarda write something in her tablet.
"Papa I can't tell if you are joking or do you actually not remember?"
"Remember? Remember what?"
The girl stares at her father while the other looks at her, dumbfounded.
As the silent and weird staring content goes on, the water next to them rises, revealing a very wet yet happy Foolish.
"Vegetta-"
The man screamed out of the sudden appearance of his lover.
"-I didn't know you were coming!" His happy smile quickly turned into a look of realization. "I'm so sorry for scaring you!"
Next to him, a snickering child as she looks at her Papa's shocked face.
"Leo, this is not funny." Vegetta joked, not actually mad at her. "I actually thought your Dada was in trouble!"
The girl kept laughing as Foolish looked at his boyfriend. "Trouble? In the water? Vegetta?"
Vegetta blushed, mumbling quietly, "I forgot you were a shark okay."
The totem giggled as Vegetta walks towards him and sits on the edge of the bridge, legs crossed. Foolish swims over and lays his head on the mans lap.
"Hey you got my clothes wet!" he complained with no ill feelings, if anything he thought it was cute.
"Oh come on, you can easily change." he raised his head off and started swimming a couple of feet away. "Instead of complaining, why not join me? Both of you."
Vegetta thinks about it and turns to Leo, who is already taking off her armour to join her dad.
"Leonarda, the water is very deep, I feel like you shouldn't join." Vegetta warned.
She looks at her Papa and then her Dada and jumps into the water, making Vegetta wetter than he previously was.
She clings onto the edge of the bridge and sticks her tongue out to her Papa.
"Vegetta.." Foolish swims closer and takes his hands in his own. "It's your turn."
"If all of us are in the water, who is going to get the towels mi amor?"
"We'll just sun dry ourselves! Let nature do her thing y'know!" The totem grinned. "Please, Vegetta, you know it'll be fun."
He ponders on the thought a bit, drawing a loud sigh afterwards.
"Is that a yes?"
"I mean-"
"Great!" Foolish smirks as he pulls his lover into the water.
The sudden feeling of water surrounding him shocked him to say the least. He didn't even take a deep breath before going down and, thankfully, Foolish noticed that too. (Or maybe it was cause the amount of air bubbles coming out from his mouth who knows)
Foolish swam up, holding Vegetta closely to him. As soon as they breached the surface of the water he heard a deep breath coming from the human.
He moved his hands to Vegetta's hips, his eyes snap to the man as he hears spanish curses spewing out of his lovers mouth and a small shove from him.
"What cough was that for?" Vegetta looked at him angrily, well as angry as he can look while having his arms around his shoulder.
"Sorry, it was too hard to refuse."
Vegetta rolled his eyes as he moves his right hand from the others shoulder to his face, cupping his cheek.
"I want a better apology than that."
Foolish smirked as he instantly knew what his lover was asking. "Well-" he pulled him closer. "Did you know what underwater kisses are very romantic?"
"This is just an excuse to drown me again."
"What! Of course not, can't I kiss you in my natural environment? It's only fair since we do it on land so often."
Vegetta huffed, "Let me at least hold my breath this time."
The totem smiled. "Deal."
The second the human took a deep breath, Foolish submerged them underwater. Chuckling as he watches his love get used to the cold water.
Vegetta opens his eyes, Foolish expecting to be caught red handed until he sees Vegetta stare behind him.
Scared at the idea of a monster behind them, he turns around putting the man behind him. If Vegetta protects him above water than he would surely protect him underneath it.
Upon seeing that there was nothing behind them, he looked back at Vegetta swimming back up, presumingly to get another breath.
He chased after him and saw him breathing a bit too heavily for him liking.
"Are you okay? Was there something in the water? I swear I didn't know. I thought this place was monster-free, I'm so sorry-"
"No no no!" Vegetta waved his hands around. "Your tail!"
Foolish wide-eyed at the sentence. Staring at Vegetta like he said something rude.
Not that he didn't like his tail, per se, it's just incredibly inconvenient and it was also the only thing people know about him for. It's also not even that pretty.
Unlike Jaiden's wings with a beautiful purple and grey hombre, or Roier's 8 spider legs that allows him to easily climb walls (and just to scare people), his shark tail was boring.
It was the average shark tail, grey with a white underside. Except for the scars he made on his adventures, it was dull.
But that is when he's on land. Under the deep blue, however, is a whole different story.
Below the surface, his tail glowed a golden yellow, accompanying it was green jewelery that only comes when hes in the water.
Foolish doesn't know exactly how it happens but he blamed it on him being a totem.
"Yeah, no, ignore it don't worry. I don't know why it does that, it just happens-"
"It's beautiful!" Vegetta smiled.
Foolish blushed a deep red at the compliment.
"Why didn't you show me this sooner?"
"Well-" To be honest, even the totem himself didn't know. He wanted to show his friends but they just never seemed to care, and slowly after that he didnt care either. "I guess I didn't see a reason why I would need to show you."
Vegetta smile dropped a bit and Foolish quickly realized what he just said.
"I didn't mean it like that!" his face full of guilt. "No one I knew never really wanted to see it so I just never brought it up! If anything, you're the first person to see it!"
The man's face soften, "Can I see it again please?"
"I mean, if you can keep your breath long enough." he said overconfidently, trying to hide the red on his face.
Foolish dived underwater, Vegetta joining soon after, he wrapped his tail around the man so he could see it better. The man face light up as he spun his head around to look at his tail.
Foolish gazed lovingly at his partner until he felt a hand carressing his tail. Despite the cold water, he could feel the heat on his face going up at the sudden touch.
He quickly grabbed Vegetta's face in his hands and kissed him. The man, albiet shocked, quickly returned the kiss and wrapped his hands around his lover's hips.
Althought Foolish knew he could stay like this forever, Vegetta certainly cannot. With this in mind he held tigbtly onto his boyfriend and swam up.
As they reached the surface, their lips stayed together as he felt the human smile into the kiss.

They broke apart upon hearing the foreign sound, looking around to find the source. Only to see the same child with the red cap holding a camera.
Leo giggled as she took off to the tower after getting caught, camera in hand with the undying evidence of them in the water.
"LEO!" Foolish shouted, face even redder in embarassment. "Oh my god, we should have never given her a camera."
"Calm down Foolish, it's kind of cute no?" Vegetta giggled. "And, now that she's in her room, we are all alone.."
"VEGETTA!"
