Donnie was having a tough time today. First they had found out through April about the Kraangs new hairbrained scheme of further invading the world by teleportation.
And begrudgingly they had been ripped from their quest in modding a tablet for Mikey. It wouldve been functioninal and stylish, well, to Mikey tastes anyways. Which meant pizza shaped with a carapace pattern. And wouldve stopped him from stealing and ruining Donnies computers every five seconds... maybe they could trap Mikeys attention with baby sensory videos next time he wandered into the lab.... Hm. They would have to test that on Casey first.
However, back on topic, the Kraang weren't making a portal to a different dimension this time thankfully, but they still had a big problem to try and fix.
Luckily, after some conveniencey, Mikey Raph and Donnie raging like normal, Lea being self sacrificial AGAIN, Casey coming in clutch for a miraculous save that shouldn't have been possible, and Aprils telepathy skills( not all in that order) they managed to stop the plot and get the tech away.
Now, Donnie had tasked themself with figuring out how exactly the tech even worked. And how their ragtag group could use this power to teleport around New York to gain an edge over their enemies. But it was surprisingly hard for something so... simple looking.
The kraang had called it "elder kraangs old crystal of what is known as found familial son known to that which is known as kraang elder." Whatever that had entailed.
It was an odd looking crystal, bright nauseating green with red scattered about in strikes, and oddly enough shaped similar to a newborn snapping turtles shell. It was small, about the size of a quarter, and had a few panels that sunk in. Which was how the Kraang controlled it.
But if they could just-
The door slammed open, they whirled around defensively and tightened their grip on the thing in their hands, it was Lea surprisingly, "Donnie, care to tell me why you and Casey were out and-"
But her voice drowned out in Donnies ears, only catching tidbits about spraypaint and vandalism, as they looked on horror at the space infront of them, and what was once in their hands now glowing brightly and floating.
"LEA!" They yelped out as they skittered quickly away from the glowing green portal, not the familiar and trademark pink of Kraang technology for once, "DID YOU NOT READ THE SIGN ON MY DOOR???"
They and their sister were now in shock as the portal grew larger than it had been in 3 seconds, they could hear their other brothers and friends run up behind them.
"Don, what did yo-" April said arriving Raphs arm lashing out blocking her and Casey from walking in further.
"ME?? LEA RAN IN HERE AND IGNORED THE SIGN ON MY DOOR-"
"I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHY YOU AND CASEY VANDA-"
"GUYS SOMETHINGS GETTING OUT OF THERE!!" Mikey shut them up REAL fast.
They all stood in shock at the ripple in the portal before it spat out something onto the ground and imploded on itself.
There was, a teenage sized mutant snapping turtle turtle. Brightly nauseating. And green and spikey.
"What the fuck... another version of us? Where are the others...?" Raph muttered a little peeved. He thought something bad was gonna happen. But no, it was probably another version of them that yelled out something stupid every five seconds.
"Dude which one of us even is he supposed to be? Whys the mask neon GREEN?" Mikey blurted. Causing the guy to groan and he rolled on his back, Don winced as the shells spikes no doubt punctured it a little, or dented it.
"Im out..." April muttered, "im to tired for this bullshit and i have exams.... Come on Casey you too." The vigilante protested as she was dragged out of the sewers forcefully by April.
"Eugh boy..." the guy said, "anyone get the number on that bus? Im gonna have to call HR." He joked sitting up and rubbed his head smearing... is that fucking red sharpie.
"Is he a Raph?" Lea asked.
The guy looked up and did a double take at the people in front of him, "WHAT THE FUCK? WHO ARE YOU RIP OFFS AND WHY DO YOU GUYS HAVE MY SIBLINGS WHOLE SCHTICK?!" He bounced up as his tail knocking over a beaker, pulling out surprisingly sturdy looking salami sticks for weapons as he weilded them like swords. Huh. Maybe a Leo/Lea?
'Goddammit' Don muttered at the loss of another precious beaker.
Raph took initiative, thank gods. His siblings are emotionally constipated as fuck. "Alright, were the Raph, Donnie, Lea, and Mikey of this dimension." He said pointing to everyone, "state ur biz on why you're here. And WHERE are your brothers??" he asked accusingly, "Usually they come all together, as annoying as it is at times..." he tacked on as an afterthought.
The poor guy looked at them lost and sort of... hurt?
"Aw man... you mean you guys dont have a me?" He... pouted? Ok, this was happening. "Damn. Guess the awesome powers of Sandro had to be contained, im too powerful to breach my dimension i guess." He smirked putting away the salami as he cheered right back up somehow. What the hell- wait...
"What do you mean... theres another version of us..... with... another.. brother..." Donnie said slowly. "Did you get left behind here or? Do you just not exist?? Im so- confused? Hold on a second-" their hands made their way to their head like they had a headache before sprinting out of the room.
Ignoring the small crisis as Donnie left to go check their files frantically for anything on a 'Sandro' Lea stepped up breaking out of her stupor.
"Ok, hello, Sandro welcome to our dimension...." The kid lit up as Lea started to talk to him, feeling honored he hadn't done that for the others she continued with more confidence.
"We unfortunately dont know anyone named Sandro, but Donnies checking right now so, you just helped us out on the quest to possibly look for him!" The kid was absolutely elated at the fact he was getting complimented for his accidental good work at reuniting the family, "But we need to know why you're here exactly? Just so we can get you home faster to your siblings."
She tried to word it nicely but honestly Lea was just tired of other turtles problems now that they have one more judging by the loud "HUH? WHAT THE HELL HOW DID I MISS HIM?" From the other room.
But the poor guy looked very confused, at this so Mikey gave a little context, "last time we had dimension hoppers they needed our help with the Kraan-"
"KRANG?" Sandro said kind of.. excitedly? Before he got whiplash and cleared his throat like he didn't just get all teary eyed at the mention of their enemy. Maybe it was different there? "Sorry uhm, but no." He laughed a little. "I dont think i brought myself here on purpose actually? I was eating pizza and saw a bright light and thought it might lead to..." he pasued "somewhere. So i kinda sorta... jumped in?"
Donnie walked back in, "good news we have a Sandro hes alive-" before catching the conversation and groaning as everyone looked to them for an explanation.
"Okay, that kinda might've been me and Leas fault..." they said sliding the papers onto a table. "I was messing with the... 'Kraang Elder's son's crystal' thing we found, and Lea startled me so i squeezed it and pressed every button. Its right behind you on the floor actually?" They pointed out.
Mikey let out a relieved sigh, "Oh good," at the hurt look from Sandro he quickly added, "that means your brothers wont go absolutely bonkers looking for you at least!"
The kid brightened up, "Wagadooey!" Welp. Theres the annoying catchphrase Raph mused, "Thats good news! Wouldn't want my sibs to get worried." He reached down to grab the crystal, which Donnie noted was the shape of his shell... interesting. They wouldn't comment on this for now.
"It was nice to meet you at least." Lea smiled, "thanks for helping us find our Sandro by the way."
"Happy to help out my siblings anyday!" Sandro looked down at the crystal, "well i gotta hit the road, maybe i can visit some time? Portal me when you find your brother!"
And he was gone.
"Thank fuck... we gotta sleep then start a search good lord that was a lot to process.."
"Raph." Lea said sharply.
"Lea, we just found out we have another brother. I need 3-5 business days to process this. Im sleeping." He said defensively as he walked out.
"So what was this about Dee and Casey vandalizing a building Lea?" Mikey grinned at Donnie and looked them in the eyes ignoring the look of absolute betrayal.
"I can't believe all my older siblings hate me what the fuck." Donnie groaned.
"And i can't believe it took you guys months to realize me spending hours or months in Dimension X meant i was the older by atleast a couple hours but ya know." He mused as he looked at the oncoming lecture like it was a soap opera. The existential crisis of another brother would come later he guessed.
