Summary
[Updated with an illustration for Chapter 4! 7/23/2023]
Alexander Frankenhorne has been betrayed by everyone he's ever loved, and can't stand it any more - so he'll make a monster to do his bidding and never leave him - a Taskmonster. But his efforts to keep the creature at arms length go poorly, until they are dramatically torn apart. They'll both need to change before they can find their way back to each other in a dangerous reunion. This is what happens when you go a bit too far on the thought "Alex made the Taskmaster...". Inspired by Mary Shelly's Frankenstein - including the torturous journal format and dramatic descriptive style. Gets pretty gruesome in spots due to subject matter (reanimation), and there's nothing more risqué than pining and a kiss.
All the characters named here are lovely people IRL that I would never wish any harm upon. That said, one is written as a villain, and two characters with minor appearances die.
