September 28th, 1985

He opened his eye. His black pupil scanned his surroundings, the room he was in was dark, really dark. She walked around trying to orientate herself while bumping into some objects. After walking and bumping into things, they finally found the switch. The room lit up, blinding them for a second. The floor and walls were all old, they were bugs, holes, webs everywhere, a closet in the corner, and a few boxes laying around. They noticed a mirror on the hall. A tall figure stood there, its skin was dark gray, claws as sharp as daggers, it had huge bison-like horns and only one eye. Was that... them? Was that how they looked like? What even was this place?

She walked to the door, holding the door knob and opened it. There was an old hallway, the lights were dim and had more webs and eleven doors in total in each side. She examed them, they looked like they were newly regenerated bedrooms, flipped over drawers and some spiders crawled through the walls. Each door had a vogel or a consonant along with 3-digit numbers but only three were visible as the rest was scratched off.
They went to the end of the hallway, there was no door but something was blocking the entrance. Suddenly, they heard a voice, it sounded soft and caring, they pressed their head against the object (or at least tried) but they still couldn't make out what the voice was saying.
Silence came, footsteps were heard and a door was opened and closed leaving a huge echo on the other side.

[Who was that?] He thought to himself.

He rested his hands on the rusty object, looking around.

[How do I get out?... Maybe I can move this?]

She started to press to his left, trying to move it. It took some time but they were able to move it out of the way, creating  enough space for him to slip through. He looked around, he was on a library and the object that was blocking the entrance was a bookshelf. The library didn't have a lot of books, most of the shelves were almost empty. It had a second floor and a window on the right side, where the stairs were located. The rain fall from the sky, pushing against it, the night sky and stars shinning beautifully. It was a great view if you asked them. They explored a little bit more and existed the room quietly.

After a bit of walking around, they heard a voice.
"... F#cking morons.. Getting on my f#cking nerves and I end up having to clean the mess." It sounded tired and raspy. They peeked through the open hallway. In the other side of the hallway, a tall humanoid with pitch black, one red eye, a third arm attached to the head and wore dark gray receptionist clothes with an identity card.

[I can talk with xem and see if xe can help.] They moved forward before being startled by a voice.

"Hello!"

She looked behind her. There was another humanoid simular to the other one but almost human height, the entity extended their hand as to shake hers. She also noticed the other entity walk over to them, probably heard the loud noises.

"I'm sorry if I scared you..."
"Umm. I
t's fine, I guess?"

They shook hands.

"What's your name?"

"I.. I don't know....."

It didn't have a name. It didn't even know what a name was. It just popped into existence. No directions. No familiarity. It was just thrown into the unknown.

"It's okay.. We can figure it out later. It was nice to meeting you tho! I'm Sam but you can call me Sammy and this is my sibling Kendall."

"...Hi..." Kendall waved at him.

" Umm.. It's nice to meet you two?"

"I can show you around so you don't get lost and maybe introduce you to Virus!"

Sam took their hand and directed them through the hallway. Looking back, Kendall had walked back and was finishing to clean whatever was on carpet. It was red liquid, that was the only thing it knew.

"So you don't have a name as you said." He started as they both walked through the long hallways of the building.

"Yeah..."

"I can give you suggestions."

"I guess that could be nice.."

It took a while but they came to conclusion that 'Drain' could be a good name.
