● While Mal had always been a confident girl, her relationship had always been her main source of anxiety
● Ben tried his best to help with said anxiety
● Evie, of course, made both Mal's wedding and her reception dress
● Mal, due to her magic, struggled to get pregnant
● When she finally did get pregnant, Ben grinned and ran around the castle in excitement; this was not a good idea
● Mal was more than scared to be a mother; Ben, on the other hand, was excited to see his wife become a mother, and to become a father
● Ben bet they were having a girl, while Mal insisted they were having a boy
● They chose not to find out the sex of their baby
● Mal nearly set the room on fire with her Braxton-Hicks contractions
● The doctors told Ben that Mal's powers would make it impossible for him to be in the room with her; the first time Mal screamed, he threw caution to the wind and ran to be in the room with her
● When Bethany was born, her first look was confusion at her mother's purple hair, then a smile
● Mal hardly wanted to let her daughter go, but she finally let Ben hold her
● Mal took the first picture of Bethany and her father; it's one of her favorites because it captures the moment Ben became a girl dad
● Ben's favorite thing to do was to spend time with his wife and daughter
● Evie made her niece a small (more play-friendly) version of her mom's wedding dress
● Ben spoiled Bethany more than anything; Mal tried to be the disciplinary parent, but she spoiled Bethany just as much as Ben
● Bethany got a sibling, a little brother named Michael, when she was six
● Bethany was born a month after Evan and Diana, and she and Diana were inseparable
● Mal used to sing to Bethany when she was a baby; Ben took a video once of Mal in the rocking chair with baby Bethany on her bare chest, Mal singing a lullaby to the baby
● The best picture of the family comes from Evie; Ben was sitting against the edge of the couch (head propped up by his fist), Mal leaning against him with his arm wrapped around her back, Bethany seated between her parents, all asleep
● Bethany was Mal's carbon copy physically, but her personality was all Ben
● Ben was Bethany's favorite cuddle buddy
● Michael was a clingy baby
● Growing up, all Mal wanted was her mother's approval; turns out, she'd get so much more
