Summary
Ser Jorah brings Daenerys to the North before her brother has a chance to marry her off to the Dothraki. The situation forces Ned Stark to reveal the truth of Jon’s parentage early on, and the Starks take on Daenerys as a ward.
She dyes her hair, uses a fake name, and tries to find a life for herself in Winterfell, but one Stark remains frigid to her. But after a late night of drinking and talking, secrets are revealed that make Daenerys question her options.
She can’t marry or have children—not without the risk of someone possibly uncovering her true identity, but perhaps she can take a lover…
