Summary
Hands grip at your forearms; you find yourself face to face with a bearded man in a beanie, decked out in full tactical gear. You recoil on instinct, ripping your arms from his grip, staggering again. “Ma’am,” he begins warningly, but you cut him off.
“My daughter!” you exclaim with urgency. “She’s two bloody years old and she just —”
“Mumma!” you hear then, and it’s music to your ears. You’re rude and you don’t care, shoving past the bearded soldier to find your daughter in the arms of another military man, and the breath punches out of you again for a different reason.Gaz/single mom!reader
