Mars knocked on Scarlett's bedroom door. “Scarlett, open the door.” They knocked harder. “Stop.. please stop..” She got up and opened the door. She had her headphones on, so she could block out everything.
“Tell Callie and Marie I don’t want their stupid therapy.” She snapped with tears in her eyes. “Scarlett, listen, you need this, you need something to get your feelings out and this is the only way.” They said with a small sigh. Scarlett took a deep breath, trying not to cry.
“Scarlett, please just go back to the group chat and talk about your feelings. You know no one’s going to make fun of you.” They gave her an encouraging smile.
“Ok but I’m only doing this so you leave me alone.” She smiled and laughed slightly. “Rude” They rolled their eyes before going back to their room.

Agent2: Are you guys ok?
Captain: yeah and Scarlett had something to say
Neo3: no I don’t
Captain: I’ll tell them about your very interesting crush
Neo3: OK OK I’m sorry for leaving so abruptly like that and being a dick
Agent1: It's ok Scarlett!
Agent2: It's alright
Agent1: anyways! Scar, are you ok with talking about your feelings and stuff?
Neo3: um a little
Agent1: ok well the floor is yours
Agent2: scarlett?
Neo3: I’m sorry
Neo3 left the groupchat
Agent1: I knew this was a bad idea
Agent2: mar can you see if she’ll talk to you?
Captain: yeah

Mars sighed, got out of bed and walked to Scarlett's room. “Scarlett? Can I come in?” They could hear her crying from inside.
“Y-Yeah.”
Once they heard her muffled approval, they opened the door to see Scarlett in the corner of her bed, small-frye plush in hand, phone at the end of the bed.
“Scar… come here.” They opened their arms and the younger agent practically threw herself into them and sobbed. “It’s ok, it’s ok.” They decided to change their position to where they were sitting on the bed holding the crying agent. “ ‘m s-sorry.” She sniffed.
“Don’t apologize, it’s not your fault. We should have just asked you if you wanted this or not.” They frowned as she started to sob harder. “Just take a deep breath, kid. It’s ok.” They smiled as the younger octoling started calming down.
“ ‘m sorry you had to see me like this.” She sniffed as she held onto Mars like her life depended on it. “I said don’t apologize, kid. It’s not your fault.”
“It is, I shouldn't be crying over something so small. You guys were just trying to help and I acted like a-a fucking dick for no reason and and-“ She was cut off by the older agent.
“Never say that about yourself, it’s ok to cry over small things and it’s our fault.” They sighed as she closed her eyes. She was so tired. “Night kid.” They smiled as she fell asleep in their arms.
Just as Mars started falling asleep, Hachi walked through the door. “Mars, you in here?” She was immediately shushed by her lover. “What happened?” She said in a quiet tone. “She had a breakdown.” Hachi frowned and sat next to her lover.
“We should adopt her.” She said casually. “Huh?” Their eyes went wide. Scarlett has accidentally called them ‘sis’ but they always let it slide but the thought of adopting the agent made them feel warm inside.
“We can ask her if she would be ok with that when she wakes up.” Mars smiled at the snoring octoling in their arms. “I have the best ideas.” Hachi just giggled.
