Some information on Sasha Velour:
Velour is a Brooklyn-based drag queen who is most famous for winning season 9 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She runs a drag revue show (Nightgowns), and stars in her own one-woman (one-drag queen) show, Smoke and Mirrors. She just wrote a memoir/manifesto about drag called The Big Reveal. If she is in your city touring, run, do not walk to get tickets. I've seen her live thrice, and every time it's been a transformative experience. She's someone who thinks very deeply about gender, about drag, about the political valences of performance in ways that are exciting and cool and mind-bending to watch.
Velour also starred in a mini-series about Nightgowns that ran on Quibi (RIP), but that is freely available on Roku. It's literally like 90 minutes long, so very worth watching, and includes some excellent drag.
Not all the performances in the vid are freely available, but I've highlighted those that are:
Cellophane (2022 version)
Edge of Seventeen (2020)
Wild is the Wind (2022 version)
I'm Alive (2022)

Many thanks to eruthros and thingswithwings for advice, to Sam for inspiring and betaing the vid, and to Sasha herself for putting out like 50 new videos of content over the last five months. It was awful, terrible, and wonderful.
