Legally kidnapping Mafuyu

12:01am

Saki: are we ready?

An: READY STEADY

Airi: An actually shut up 

Emu: THIS IS GONNA BE SO WONDAHHOY

Mizuki: Ok I’m outside and I can see An

Saki: ok it’s go time

Mafuyu had been trying (crying himself) to sleep when their window opened.

He nearly screamed, but Mizuki pressed a finger to her lips.

“What the—“

Emu, An, Airi and Saki also poked their heads in.

”Help us through the window, would you?” Airi asked.

”Oh my god.” Mafuyu gasped, pulling Mizuki in the others in. “What are you five doing here?”

”Legally kidnapping you.” An said. “Emu, go stand by the door and watch for Mafuyu’s mom and dad. And be absolutely silent, okay?”

Emu nodded seriously and poked her head through the crack in the door.

Mizuki got out Mafuyu’s suitcase. “Pretty big suitcase. An, Saki, come help me pack the necessities. We can—woah. Mafuyu, you okay?”

Mizuki’s tone grew worried as they rubbed a far off of the purple-haired’s cheek.

”Uh—“ Mafuyu mumbled. “My mom…”

”What did the wicked witch do now?”

Mafuyu sniffled. “She uhm…got mad because…”

He hung his head.

”I was gonna tell you guys…”

”Tell us what?”

”I’m uh…not…a girl.” Mafuyu mumbled.

Mizuki blinked before going. “So you’re under the trans umbrella?”

”Yeah. Transmasc…”

”Oh, okay.” She said. “Is that why your mom was mad? Did she find out?”

Mafuyu nodded and then turned to so show Mizuki the ugly bruise on his cheek. “She hit me.”

That fucking—

Mizuki took a deep breath, and put their hands in Mafuyu’s shoulders. “Never again.” They said.

”Yeah.” Saki chimed in. “We’ll all support you Mafuyu. And I’ll send Shii after anyone who doesn’t.”

”Basically, we’re gonna take you over to the Hinomori’s place for a bit until their mom does…lawyer things I don’t know. And then you can get adopted. So you won’t have to step foot here ever again! If that’s what you want…” An said.

”What do you think, Mafuyu?” Airi asked, shoving more clothes into the suitcase 

Mafuyu looked at all of them, and sniffed.

He didn’t know anything. Not who he was or what decisions he could make.

But he knew one thing.

He wanted to be out of here.

As tears began to pour, he nodded over and over, burying himself in Mizuki’s arms in order to muffle his crying.

Mizuki smiled.

”We’ll get you out of here, then.”

Nearly an hour later, everything Mafuyu would need was packed.

”Okay, now to just get out—“

”GUYS!” Emu shouted. “MAFUMOM AT 25:00!!”

Mafuyu paled, and An panicked. “EEP!” She pushed Saki and the suitcase out the window. “C’mon, let’s go!”

”Mafuyu! Who is in your room?!”

”Shut your old ass up!” Mizuki yelled, grabbing Mafuyu while An grabbed Emu. “Go go go!”

”Asahina Mafuyu!”

”Go, Mafuyu, go!” Mizuki called, and she shoved him out the window.

Mafuyu landed on the ground with a THUNK!

Everyone else tumbled out as Mafuyu’s mom walked in.

She stormed around the room for a few minutes before huffing and walking to look for Mafuyu somewhere else.

”C’mon, let’s go.” An finally said, once they were sure she was gone.

”Wait!” Emu gasped, and pulled Mafuyu’s phone out of her pocket.

”What?! When did you get that?!” Saki asked.

”I stole it right before Mafumom came towards Mafuyu’s room!”

”Emu, what the fuck.”

A FEW WEEKS LATER

Shizuku: Everyone, say hello to our new brother: Hinomori Mafuyu!

Saki: no, actually

Ichika: she hasn’t been online for like two days

Kanade: that scares you?

Haruka: With An? Yes.

Shizuku: she’s online the most out of all of us…

Shiho: Kohane’s been AFK too

Mizuki: why though? How come they’re BOTH offline

Mizuki: ”So, What happened? Why is Anhane MIA?”

An had excitedly rushed up towards them for practice. “I have this super important thing to tell you all.”

Akito and Toya listened attentively, but Kohane sighed. It had been a really rough day and she was just feeling so out of it that she debated not coming. But she couldn’t let the team down. So she would push through.

An’s hyperactive self, however, made that difficult.

”An, Darling I’m really not—“

”Oh! Oh but it’ll be quick!” An said. “And it’s really important. And we can get right to practicing as soon as I’m done!” She said. “Okay so I—“

”An.”

”In a minute, Kohane. I did some research and experimented, and I figured out that—“

”An!”

”One second, Darling. And it took me a while and I’m sorry if this seems so sudden because I didn’t even know this myself! Ha! But I wanna go—“

And Kohane was not having it. She really just wanted An to be quiet and let them practice! But noooo, she had to barge in with whatever thing she needed to say and just wouldn’t be quiet and before anyone knew it she’d—

”Shiraishi!” She shirked. “Please, for the love of god can you shut the hell up for five. Fucking. Minutes?!”

Akito and Toya’s eyes went wide, and An shrunk a little.

”I’m sorry—“

Kohane rolled her eyes. “Can you please just be quiet and not ramble for a little bit?!”

An was about to say something before she shut her mouth and nodded.

The four then turned to go practice. “Bad move…” Toya mumbled.

Akito nodded. “Yeah, dude. You even used her last name.”

Kohane huffed, but she couldn’t ignore the guilt that would eat at her for the rest of practice.

An left very quickly once they were done.

Akito: “And that’s probably why they’re not online. An would feel like she’s being a bother and Kohane feels too guilty to talk to anyone.”

Kanade: “Oh…”

Airi: “Damn, last name and everything?”

Toya: “Mhm.”

Ena: “So what are they gonna do? They can’t keep avoiding each other!”

Rui: “I got this.”

Shiho: “Where did you come from?!”

Rui: “The backrooms.”

Kohane: I just

Kohane: it was bad day and I love An and the rest of the VBS but I really didn’t wanna be there today

Kohane: Then An runs in, loudly telling us about this really important thing and she was talking so fast and doing so much and I already had a massive headache from the bad day and all that talking made me wanna cry but I snapped instead

Kohane: plus I could barley understand what she was saying and it made me feel really stupid because I can’t keep up with people like that sometimes

Kohane: I didn’t even know I was reacting until I after I reacted

Kohane: it’s no excuse but

Kohane: that’s basically it

Kohane: I don’t mind when An rambles like that, and I normally encourage it even, but that day I just

Kohane: I feel like I’m such a bad girlfriend

Rui: you’re not

Kohane: ?

Rui: I’m not gonna lie to you, you fucked up. And you hit a very sensitive spot for An and you most definitely hit her trust too. Because you’re normally the one she comes to if someone else snaps at her like that, if I’m right.

Rui: You probably made her feel like absolute crap.

Kohane: thank you for the honesty, at least 

Rui: Hey, you gotta hear it.

Rui: What’s NOT your fault is how you were feeling and the day you had. What IS your fault is how you reacted when you know you shouldn’t have reacted that way. Yes, An probably should have stopped and listened to you, but it’s not like she completely ignored you either, from what I’ve heard. It’s not like she intended to brush you off, the same way YOU didn’t intend to snap. Right?

Kohane: Mhm…

Rui: Exactly. 

Rui: However:

Rui: You also care for An very deeply and I can tell you want to do anything to make it right. You’re admitting why you snapped, you’re talking about it, and you’re listening to me to figure out how you can make it up to her. Bad girlfriends don’t do those things.

Rui: What you did was wrong, but you can still fix it. Talk to her about it. Over text or in a call or show up at her door, something to let her know you’re sorry. And that you’ll work hard to regain that trust.

Rui: I would wait until morning though

Saki had also fallen asleep on Honami’s shoulder, and Ichika on Shiho’s lap. Shiho was subconsciously playing with their hair and they slept.

Kohane and Toya were out by the time Les Misérables started, so An had curled up against Akito at one point. That ended up being where she conked out—right on top of him.

Akito probably feel asleep due to the fact that he couldn’t move with a human being on him. He didn’t wanna push her off.

Eventually, the Hinomori siblings fell asleep, and so did Airi. Minori, who surprisingly made it until Haruka turned the TV off, feel asleep right after them.

This began Saki’s insistence to buy a second set of matching plushies based on animals. Shiho a wolf, Saki a cat, Honami a bear and Ichika, of course a bunny.

(This also lead to Leo/Need occasionally/maybe frequently pulling out the animal nicknames on everyone but Shiho and on Ichika the most because they think they’re funny)

But back to what was currently happening.

The read for about five minutes before Shiho frowned.

It was around three weeks later when the incident happened.

Or, part two of it.

Vivid Bad Squad and More More Jump decided to go shopping, both An and Minori feeling a lot better after the previous events.

Of course, all of their friends had ended up being told and vowed to beat the shit out of those two guys should they show up again.

And that’s exactly what happened.

Minori and A were waiting in a shop nearby the bathrooms, looking at various articles of clothing.

”You’d look cute in this, Minori.” An held up a dress. “It even goes with your choker.”

Minori fiddled with the ‘M’ charm. “It is pretty cute.”

Both of their backs were turned to the door. So they didn’t notice two familiar figures walk in when they really should have.

”I could totally pair this with—“

”Well well well…”

Both of them instantly froze.

”Come on, turn around and let us see your faces.”

But neither Minori or An could move. They panicked—not too many people around, in a big store, the staff on the other side of it—

”I said turn around.”

One of the boys grabbed An’s arm and twisted them two the front, Minori automatically spinning when An was no longer in their peripheral vision.

”Better.”

“What-what do you want?” The cracked question comes from Minori, as An wasn’t able to speak.

The first boy’s nails start digging into An’s skin, An noticeably holding back tears.

”I think you know…”

Just as the second boy is about to make a grab for Minori, a very angry shout from the doorway is heard.

”Get the fuck  away from them!”

Everything else happened in a blur.

Shizuku and Kohane immediately rush towards  Minori and An, while Akito, Airi, Haruka and Toya all jumped on the dudes—possibly out of reflex. One fight, a lot of panicking and a few angry staff members later, they’re all being questioned.

Or—trying to be.

Actually, they were considering having security hairdos come in because An and Minori would not leave the others out of (reasonable) fear.

”Ladies, it’ll only take a minu—“

“No!” Minori shrieked, curling further into Airi. “Don’t—hic—wanna!”

An was still non-verbal, and trying to coax him into getting away from Toya was not going well. And they couldn’t grab the two either because one, that’s probably illegal and two, that would make the situation worse.

“Can’t you just let us leave?! It’s only Mino and An that haven’t been questioned, what more proof do you want?!” Airi demands angrily, holding Minori closer while waiting for Haruka to finish being fucking interrogated or whatever.

”We have to question everyone individually—“

”I don’t give a damn. They’re both already on the verge of panic attacks and you can clearly see that separation is the last thing they need! Why won’t you just let one of us go with them?!”

”Its—well we—“

”Exactly!”

”We’re not trying to be difficult.” Shizuku added, a hand on Minori’s shoulder. “We want to get this over with just as much as you do, but Minori and An are clearly still shaken by the whole event.”

”And if that’s not proof, I don’t know what is.” Akito angrily grumbled, taking An in his arms while Toya calmly tried to reason with another person.

Eventually, one of them sighs and gives in. Someone can go in with them while they get questioned.

Which would especially help in An’s case because she literally can’t talk.

”Okay, have you had an encounter with those two boys before?”

An had their head on Kohane’s shoulder, listening. An nodded

”Yes.” Kohane said.

”Was it a pleasant encounter?”

Head shake.

”No.”

”Did they get physical?”

Nod.

”Yes.”

“Any witnesses?”

”No, just cameras.”

And on and on and on until they can finally leave.

Akito watched as An took a sip of their hot chocolate. Kohane and Toya were trying to explain what happened to Ken.

There would be a murder tonight.

”Mhm.” An mumbled. They were so quiet. Akito didn’t like it. An wasn’t An if An wasn’t loud, even if they were slightly too loud.

An yawned. “…sleepy.”

”Do you wanna try and sleep?”

An shook their head. “Nightmare.”

”Can you try and fall asleep, Annie? I’ll be right here when you wake up, I promise?”

They placed the hot chocolate down and curled up next to Akito. It didn’t take long for them to be knocked out.
