[Insert Bluey Intro]
[titlecard: Fan-Made Bluey Stories]
It was a Saturday afternoon, A new exhibit had been set up in the local Brisbane Museum. The expedition was about Space Exploration, how it has improved and what discoveries were made in the last 60 years. Outside the Museum, a red 4x4 pulled into a parking space. A family of four came out of the vehicle: a young blue heeler named Bluey, a seemingly younger red heeler named Bingo, an older red heeler named Chilli and a much older blue heeler named Bandit. This was the Heeler family.
Bluey:
This Fan-Made Bluey Story is called
The Heelers in The Robot Wars
Chilli:
and this chapter is called
A Night Out
Bluey: Mum, What are we seeing at the Museum again?
Chilli: Well, apparently they’ve set up a new exhibit here and we will be one of the first to see it.
Bluey: Do we know what it’s about?
Bandit: Well not exactly. But we can read this poster up here.
Bandit walks over to the poster on the front of the Museum with Bingo and Bluey following
Bingo: What does it say?
Bandit: It says here that the new exhibit is about Space Exploration and how it has evolved over the last 60 years
Bluey+Bingo: ooooh
Bluey: So that’s what we’re here for.
Bandit: Exactly, now come on. If we’re fast enough, we might be able to get something from the Café before it starts.
Bluey and Bingo squeal as they race into the building
Bluey+Bingo: ICE CREAM!!!
Chilli: You’re paying for this one. Not too far ahead girls!
Bandit: oh man.
Propelled by their excitement, Bluey and Bingo found their way to the Astronimacy section of the museum.
Bingo: woooow…
Soon enough, Chilli and Bandit caught up to them.
Bandit: Welp, here we are. Wow, they have changed a lot of stuff since I've last been in this section.
Bluey: Don’t you usually explore around when you’re not busy?
Bandit: Yeah, I do. Just not this part.
The four began to walk through the section.
Bluey: Why not?
Bandit: I’m just not that interested in space. It’s more about archeology for me.
Bingo: If you’re not interested in the first place then why are we here?
Bandit: Because it’s the summer holidays and I thought this would be a nice treat for all of us.
Following behind them was a grey male terrier. This was James, an old friend of Bandit from school. He was also hosting the event.
He kept a distance to ensure they wouldn't notice him but gradually closed the gap.
Once James got close enough, he made his move.
James: Dr. Bandit…
Bandit stopped once he heard the familiar voice and turned to see his old friend that he hadn’t seen in 10 years.
Bandit: Dr. James, long time no see.
James: Sure is. Afternoon Chilli.
Chilli: Ah, James… Who’s James again?
James: Yeah I thought you wouldn’t remember me. It has been a long time since we’ve chatted.
Bandit: Yep, a whole decade I believe.
Bluey: Who’s this?
Bandit: This is James, an old friend of mine from when I was in school. A long time ago.
Bingo: In the olden days?
Bandit: *chuckle* Yep, in the olden days.
James: And who are these two little critters?
Bluey: My names Bluey and this is my little sister Bingo
James: Bluey and Bingo. Hm, I feel like I’ve heard the name Bluey from somewhere.
Bandit: That’s probably from our chats about us starting a family from a while ago.
James: Oh yeah, I remember. So you two did get busy after all. Twice it seems
Bandit: Woah careful mate, there's kids here.
James: Oh right, the kids. How could we ever forget about the kids ay?
James turns towards Bluey and Bingo and kneels down to their level.
James: After all, it is proven that the young ones are the brightest stars in the universe.
The last part of that sentence made Bluey and Bingo giggle a little.
James: Anyway, I best get going. It starts in 15 minutes and I need to get stuff set up
Bandit: Wait, are you hosting tonight?
James: Yep.
Bandit: No way, you should’ve told us.
James: I don’t have any proper way to contact you, your phone number doesn’t work anymore.
Bandit: Oh right, I forgot I changed it.
James: Actually Bandit, after the event is finished, can I talk to you for a moment… Alone?
They all were perplexed by this request. Bandit was worried as it wasn’t like him to talk in private and Chilli seemed a little suspicious about this request.
James: If it’s fine with Chilli at least.
Chilli: Oh no, it’s completely fine by me. As long as it’s work related.
James: Thank you.
Bandit: James, this isn’t like you to want to talk privately. What’s this about?
James: You’ll see mate… you’ll see.
James left to get organised for the event. Chilli gave the “are you completely sure about this” look to Bandit.
Bandit: I swear he’s never usually like this.
