That's all he could do.
He was so terrified of what was to happen that he didn't even remember what Eggman was saying to try to snap him out of this dark, merciless rage.
Sonic had given into it, all because Chris and Cosmo were in danger.
Looking at the dark entity's face, it looked like the doctor was about to get through to him.
Then his face twisted into some sort of sadistic glee, grabbing the man by the neck and slowly strangling him.
"As if I'd ever listen to you."
He added more pressue to Eggman's neck, harder, harder, harder...
A snap then rang out.
The doctor's body dropped to the ground.
Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik was dead.
And Sonic the Hedgehog had killed him.
It was then that the young fox started running, as soon as what used to be his friend, his brother figure, turned to face his former friends.
He could hear Cosmo's screams as he bolted out of there.
He'd been doing this for a while now.
He knew Chris and Cosmo were dead by now.
He wanted to scream, cry that this was unfair, that the Sonic he knew was gone forever, and he didn't and couldn't do anything about it—
