Summary
Shadow the hedgehog doesn't want his life to change. He's perfectly fine with everything staying just the way it is. Of course, that was never his decision to make.
Shadow’s world turns on its head one night when he encounters a vampire behind his apartment—mouth bloody and eyes glowing and quills as blue as a memory he’d rather forget. One encounter turns to two, then to another, and Shadow finds himself growing closer to this vampire than he’d like to admit. Soon, he finds himself surrounded by people he couldn’t have imagined meeting in his lifetime.
Unfortunately, hanging around the monstrous crowd tends to attract more than just monsters—it attracts trouble. Everything is starting to unravel, and it’s up to Shadow to keep it from falling apart completely. With the clock ticking down and a strange darkness lurking around every turn, Shadow must find a way to keep the ones he loves safe—even if it means abandoning everything he thought he knew about himself.
