"You're going out with WHO?!"
This was the concurrent cry of both the younger siblings of the Tenmas and Hinomoris, the former being excited, the latter in utter disbelief.
Let's start with Saki and Tsukasa, shall we?
"Is that for real? You're really going out with Shizuku nee-san?"
"Ha ha! That's right! We've been secretly meeting each other on weekends, sometimes after school, and after our own individual rehearsals. We only decided to reveal it to the both of you first before letting the rest of our friends on it."
"Oooooh! This is so exciting! I'm so happy for you, Onii-chan!"
Saki wrapped her older brother in an excited hug, begging Tsukasa to indulge her more with how he had met one of her best friend's sister.
"I wonder how Shiho is taking the news?"
Meanwhile, in the Hinomori household...
"Of all people, you just had to fall in love with Saki's older brother..."
Shiho was distraught at the thought of Saki's loud and annoying sibling dating her own annoying sibling. It's not that he was a bad person, but she definitely doesn't want to stick around to find out what kind of antics these two get themselves in.
"Ehhhh? But Shii-chan, he's just so sweet! I'm pretty sure you remember that we all used to play in the park before, right?"
"That was years ago!"
"And? You and Saki-chan remained good friends after all these years despite the troubles you all had, so I don't see why he and I can't also get closer to this degree!"
Shiho had no counterargument to that statement. She was already busy processing everything that could possibly go wrong with this kind of set-up. If Shizuku breaks up with Tsukasa in a horrible manner, what would happen to her own relationship with Saki and the rest of Leo/Need? Shiho shudders to think about it.
"Besides, Shii-chan, don't you think it's wonderful? You and Saki-chan can get to be in-laws if we get married!"
"AAARGH, THAT'S TO SUDDEN TO THINK ABOUT!"
The thought of Saki being an in-law... God, it's weird!
Shiho sheepishly retreated back to the comfort of her own room as Shizuku was too busy giggling at the thought of marrying Tsukasa, and their own respective siblings in dresses sitting in the front row of the church they'd get married in. Oh, what a wonderful scenario that would be!
I need to talk to Saki about this and see what's up.
Shiho contacted Saki and wait for her to pick up.
"Mhm? Shiho? You don't usually call, what's up?"
"Saki, did you already know that your brother is-"
"YES! AAAAH, YOU'RE GONNA BE MY FUTURE SISTER IN-LAW!"
"SAKI! SHUT UUUUUP!"
Saki laughed hysterically while Shiho cringed and rolled on her bed, punching her pillows as she tried to remove the now reinforced thoughts of having Saki as an in-law.
"Awww, don't be too bummed about it, Shiho! My brother told me everything on how they met up again after all these years, and how they started going out as friends, and who confessed first, oh my gosh, who knew your sister could be so assertive as well when it comes to dating?"
"Wait, back it up a bit... My sister is assertive to dating?"
"Yeah! Didn't she tell you? Shizuku nee-san was making Onii-chan's heart race every time she would just grab his hand when they go out, leading the way to their dates! She seemed so naturally about it too!"
Shiho scratched her head when she heard all of this. That was just probably her being airheaded and not actually being the assertive partner between the two, but knowing Tsukasa, he was kinda prone to folding to girls, especially towards his pink-haired friend that can just make him do her chores.
"Huh, is that so?"
"Hey Shiho, do you wanna follow them on their next date tomorrow?"
"Date tomorrow?!"
"Yeah! Onii-chan said that they're going out tomorrow on a date to the aquarium since it's a discounted weekend rate. Let's watch them from afar to see what they'll do!"
"S-Saki, isn't that stalking?"
"Nah, this is just chaperoning from afar! Come on, let's go check them out!"
Shiho sighed deeply. She didn't really want to spend the weekend going out on a pointless trip, but she had to admit, she was curious to see the lovey-dovey side of her older sister that she didn't know she can have.
"...Alright then, let's make a plan."
"Yay!"
The next day.
Saki and Shiho met up earlier at the aquarium, wearing face masks and other gear that would make them unrecognizable from afar. Sitting at a round table of a nearby cafe, they soon spotted their older siblings meeting up at the entrance of the aquarium.
"Look, look! There they are!"
Saki whispered to Shiho, pointing at Tsukasa and Shizuku. Their jaws dropped as they did not realize how intimate they are in public, just openly hugging each other with a quick peck on the cheek. Saki's face grew red with delight, seeing how romantic her older brother is, while Shiho nearly choked on her drink.
"Oh my goooosh! Onii-chan's really going for it!"
"Shizuku... what in the hell...?!"
The older siblings held hands and walked into the attractions. The younger siblings were about to follow suit until they were spotted by a few, familiar faces.
"Ah? Saki and Shiho?"
"Ah!"
The two stopped in their tracks to see who had recognized them, and it was Rui, a good friend of Tsukasa.
"Kamishiro-san! Hello!"
"Hello there, Saki-chan. You two out on a stroll into the aquarium?"
"Kind of! Onii-chan is going out with Shizuku nee-san, and we're following them!"
"Saki?!"
Rui let out a small chuckle.
"Ah, classic Tsukasa, taking out a beautiful lady on a textbook date like this. Though I must say, I'm curious to see how this would go, so do you mind if we tag along with you?"
"We? Who are you with?"
"Rui, you left your popcorn- ah, Saki and her friend?"
Running up behind Rui was Nene, another friend of Tsukasa.
"Ah, hello there, Nene-san!"
"Hello Saki. Are you two out to see the show later as well?"
"No, they're following their own siblings on a date." Rui explained.
"Tsukasa, on a date?!"
"Nene, did you forget that Tsukasa is dating Hinomori-san? I mean, the older one, pardon me."
"Oh, right. They're here now?!"
"Yes, and I was asking if we can tag along with these two to see how it'll go."
"Rui, that's called stalking."
"No! It's responsible chaperoning!" Saki protested.
Shiho sighed and tugged at Saki's blouse sleeve.
"Hey, we're gonna lose them if we don't get a move on."
"Oh shoot! Let's go!"
The younger siblings dashed off with Rui and Nene tagging along.
