    When Hotaru, now living with her uncle full-time, visits the forest out of her daily habit, she can't help but notice a familiar presence in the air. Meanwhile, Gin, now a spirit of the Mountain God's forest, searches for a way to contact his lovely Hotaru. Yet, he finds himself incapable of speaking to her... Or speaking in general. Will he be able to tell his love that he is here, that he does in fact love her?
