"Do you know what sucks more than anything?" Lloyd asked as he looked off at the distance. Dragons flying in the far distance.
Arin frowned a bit, looking at his ma– at Lloyd. Tilting his head ever so slightly to try and see what Lloyd's face looked like at the moment. Arin could see the strained smile, and the half lidded eyes that looked too glossed over with what he feared were unshed tears.
"I really thought it was getting better." Lloyd's voice cracked at the end, clearing his throat he brought a hand over his mouth and wiped at his eyes with haste.
Arin only frowned even more, he's never really seen a ninja much less one crying. Even much less it being the Green ninja.
But that was no excuse to be ignorant to the clear vulnerability he was being showed. Arin put a hesitant hand on Lloyd's shoulder, feeling them tremble ever so slightly as he did so. Lloyd stayed put though, burying his face in his GI scarf.
Arin moved his hand to Lloyd's back, softly rubbing circles on the ninjas back and feeling the way he hiccuped here and there. Arin didn't think he was going to be having to help out with strong emotions so soon, but he was here either way.
He was here for anyone.
