After everything, Morro knew he had to leave the useless green ninja behind, the kid was dead weight. But he just needed to do one more thing before he got out of the kid's body.

"Are we there yet?" Morro held silent, flying on his dragons back to who knew where. He was just flying.

"You're just going randomly? What if we get lost?" Morro shrugged lightly, his eyes drawing to a small grassy spot surrounded by rocks tall enough to block out their view to the outside once they landed.

Morro looked around, the water in the area was a small river slowly running down. He walked up to it, looked down, and saw his- their reflection. A shade of green skin, clouds of small smoke surrounded them, eyes dark, and hair black as night.

"I still look good." Morro didn't respond, prompting them to reach a hand into the water, the surface rippled as he touched it lightly. The small sting of pain washed over his hand and he held back the hiss he wanted to let out.

He did it again, this time letting his hand sink into the water fully. Morro wasn't able to hold back the sudden hiss of pain as he leaned heavily on the hand. The pain surged farther up his hand and arm, starting to reach his chest and the very functional heart he was using.

"Hey! What are you even doing?" The kid in his head sounded worried, a bit shocked even. But Morro shook his head and let out a slightly pained chuckle, he kept his hand in the water. His eyes trained on how it had gone from the shade of green to the kid's actual skin color, the smoke reached the water but never went under.

"My hand?" Morro didn't respond, instead, he went to try to move the hand in the water only to fail, having no control over it anymore. The kid in his head noticed, and Morro watched as the hand moved, he had thought that if he put any part of his body in the water he would be able to give the kid a feel of his old body again.

Not that he wanted the kid to know such a weakness he had in his body was still water.

"I can move my hand!" Morro hummed, trying to relax and to let the surging pain he still felt to ease. But it never did, so he simply watched Lloyd have control of his hand after days, and the pain could wait.

"Doesn't this... hurt you?" The hand stopped moving energetically, instead, it moved under the water softly, back and forth. Morro shrugged, exhaling heavily as he brought himself closer to the water, his fear of water wasn't as bad as the other ghosts, he could handle it enough to where he could get close to it.

But he never dared touch it.

"It doesn't matter." The sound of his voice, he had gotten used to hearing it with Lloyd's vocal cords at work.

"It does though?" Morro didn't answer, because he didn't know how to.

The hand pushed up from the water, and Morro pulled his arm back, water splashed on his legs and he winced at the sudden hiss it let out. His hand felt like it was on fire, but its shade of green was slowly coming back. And he felt the feeling in his hand draw back and he wondered why the kid had done that.

"If it hurts, don't do it. I don't care, I don't like seeing others hurt." Morro huffed, shaking his head and closing his eyes. He focused and suddenly he heard a yelp and a sudden splash, he got up on his feet, moving a bit farther from the water.

He opened his eyes to see Lloyd with his arms engulfed in water, his lower body saved from the water he had suddenly splashed into.

"What? Are you letting me go?" Lloyd asked as he looked back, drawing his soaked arms out of the water and to his sides. Morro didn't look at him, instead, he stared at the water that was starting to still again.

"No. I brought us here because the others were getting on my nerves."

"Oh. Okay." Lloyd gave a small smile, and he turned and began to splash in the water. And Morro simply watched from a very safe distance.

The moon crossed the sky faster than he had thought, and when it was starting to disappear over the side of the rocks he knew they had to leave soon.

"Let's go." Morro got up, his eyes trained on Lloyd and his continuous splashing in the water.

"But we just got here?"

"It's been over an hour. And I said let's go." Morro didn't step forward to try to possess the kid, no, that would be a dick move seeing as the kid was so close to the water, his feet in it.

Lloyd gave him a look before he got up and spread his arms, water dripping from the sleeves.

"What about my clothes?"

"Doesn't matter. Let's just go." Lloyd walked forward, and so did Morro and soon he was possessing the kid's body again. The sting of pain surged through his arms and legs as the water touched their skin.

"Are you—"

"I'm okay." Morro didn't hear lore arguing after that, and he was a bit glad, and a bit sad he didn't.

But why would he ever admit that? The kid already probably knew. But
