“ I am exhausted!” Adrien flopped onto his bed as Plagg went straight for his cheese supply. “You’re not the only one!” He said, gulping down a full slice. Adrien buried his face into his pillow and muffled something. Plagg wasn’t listening, he was too busy going through the door of the cabinet for cheese.
“ Hey cus’” a familiar voice said. Adriens groaned into his pillow and rolled over to see Félix looking over him, “what do you want, life ruiner.” Félix put his hand on his chest, “ouch,” he then grinned, “you were always a little brutal. I just want to talk.”
“Yeah well forget it. The only thing I wanna talk about is an apology. Adrien sat up, not wanting to deal with him. “ I have a reason for everything I did Adrien! If you would just hear me out.” Adrien covered his ears, “ doesn’t sound apologetic to me.” Félix sighed, pulling something out of his pocket. He showed the broach to his cousin who removed his hands. “Félix.. is that..?” Félix nodded, “yup. I traded it for the rest of the miraculous. It was worth it.” Adrien stood up, “how could you say that? Now shad- Monarch, has all the other miraculous! He is going to attack Paris over and over again until he gets the ring and earrings!”
Felix closed his fingers around the broach, “ I know. But I do have a good reason for what I did. I want to tell you, but we need to go somewhere else.” Adrien cocked an eyebrow, “where?”
Felix attached the broach to his shirt and a kwami appeared. “Where… where is?” THe kwami looked between the two boys, “ who are you?”
“ I am Félix, your new holder.” The kwami studied both of them carefully, “you are one of them…” she said, looking at Adrien, “ so are you..”
“Dusuu, spread my feathers.” Félix wasted no time. He would talk with her later. Felix transformed, “I’ll find us a place.” He held out a hand to Adrien. Adrien hesitated before agreeing, “if something happens-,” Félix cut in, “nothing will.”
He then picked up Adrien, not noticing plagg flying into his cousins pocket. He then jumped from the window and took them to the top of the efile tower.
“What did you want to tell me?” Adrien asked, sitting down. “How much do you know about Sentimonsters?” Félix basically blurted. “Uh, that the holder of the peacock miraculous makes them and they have an amok in an object that controls them.” He laid the basics. “Yes, but did you know that all Sentimonsters are human?”
“Huh?”
Félix sighed, “ every Sentimonster that shadow moth and Myura ever created were just as human as any of those pedestrians down there.” He pointed. “And by human, I mean they had feelings and were living things even if they didn’t look human. It’s like another person but they can listen and do what ever you want if you have the amok.”
Adrien nodded, understanding, “okay, so where are you going with this?”
“Okay, what ever you do, do not freak out and hear me out after I tell you this. Got it?” Adrien nodded again, hearing the worry in his cousins voice. Felix sighed once more, “ I… w- I’m a Sentimonster.” He then froze, “no. We are Sentimonsters.”
“That’s ridiculous!” Adrien threw his arms up, “how are we Sentimonsters?! I want you to explain!” Adrien demanded, totally calm.
“There was this thing set on our mother’s family. It was common for the girls in the family not not be able to have children. Sucks for our mothers cuz they both couldn’t. Your parents were treasure hunters years ago if you didn’t know. And they found the peacock miraculous. They decided, this is how they could have children. Sentimonsters. Aka, us.” Félix had started off, “ our amoks are in the rings. Your parents rings. That’s why I tried so hard to get them. I wasn’t going to have your dad have my life on the line, worrying if he could keep me alive that day. I had to get my hands on my ring.”
“Wait… how did shadow moth get the broach from my parents then ?” Adrien asked. Felix looked at him with a concerned look. Was this kid that oblivious? “ dude! I’m saying your father in Shadow Moth or monarch or whoever! I traded for the miraculous to keep us safe, and to keep him from making more Sentimonsters just to kill them! Don’t act like you don’t realize some of this. Whenever he twists that ring, you do as he says!” He pointed out. “Oh my gosh…” a friend whispered. He was right!
Adrain had to stop his father. He just had to.
