Even if Koko didn't think about it much, he should have known Mitsuya would be skillful in drawing. He was a fashion designer, so possessing such an ability should not be surprising. Koko just didn't know how good Mitsuya was with his hands.
"Oh, wow," Koko wasn't one to easily get impressed, but it was hard to not to, when he saw what was in front of him.
"Isn't this great?"
Draken was the one to respond. He sounded ridiculously proud, as if he was the one who produced the masterpiece before Koko's eyes. Maybe he was clapping his own back for the idea of decorating the inside of D&D Motors, despite Inui mocking the ideas relentlessly. Koko could see that the result was rather spectacular. No wonder Draken got to be so smug about it.
Mitsuya, the one who was actually responsible for it, merely smiled.
"What do you think, Koko?"
Well, Koko wasn't actually great with words. Sure, he loved to give a compliment to get his way, but he just didn't think it would be fitting for the situation right now. He could feel the weight of Draken and Mitsuya's eyes on him, waiting for his answer. Koko could always say what was on his mind, but for some reason, he thought it wouldn't be enough.
He was about to open his mouth, but someone spoke before him.
"Do we need more dragons to prove this place is yours?"
Inui draped a towel over his shoulder, as he went to stand next to Koko with both arms crossing over his chest.
Draken gave him a bitch face.
"I don't need your opinion," he scoffed. "I wanna know what Koko thinks."
"I'm just stating the obvious—"
"Nobody asks you—"
Mitsuya stood up. "Guys—"
Koko cleared his throat. "I think," he started with his unusually high voice, surprised at himself for not wanting to stir up any more conflict. "it's neat. You've done a great job, Mitsuya. That is one great mural."
The other three blinked at him. Koko could feel his face heated up at the attention.
"I, I mean, it's great that you're willing to do a dragon mural based on Draken's tattoo," he stammered, glancing at Inui. "Though, Inupi's right, do you really need more dragons to show that this place is yours?"
Koko didn't expect Draken and Mitsuya to laugh. He gave Inui a questioning look, but the blond-haired man seemed as lost as he was. Draken and Mitsuya had to share some kind of inside jokes if the snippets of their commentary between the wheeze were any indication.
It took a while for them to regain themselves.
"Sorry about that," Mitsuya grinned. "This," he put his hand on the dried part of the mural. "is not based on Draken's tattoo."
Surely, Mitsuya didn't think that Koko was that stupid. The resemblance of the design and all—
"My tattoo was based on his mural," Draken added, pointing at the side of his head. Mitsuya gave him his usual starry eyes, lips twitching into a private smile.
It was Koko's turn to blink. Did he miss something? It felt like there was more story in that simple sentence. A history that only Draken and Mitsuya shared and knew.
"Didn't you get the tattoo since you were kids?" Inui frowned.
Draken grinned. "Damn right, I did. It's Mitsuya's dragon."
Mitsuya shook his head, and a fond smile bloomed itself. "It's your dragon. I traded it with the karubidon, remember?"
They shared a laugh, that Koko felt like he was an intruder for witnessing them alone. He was surprised when he heard Inui snort.
"Childhood friends, huh?"
Koko pretended he didn't hear the condescending undertone.
Draken resorted to his default bitch face again. "Look, who's talking."
2.
Inui knew firsthand how attached Draken was to his Zephyr. He could have sworn that Mitsuya didn't just date Draken; he was actually having a three-way relationship with Draken's Kawasaki as well. Some people might find Draken way too obsessed and weird (super weird, if you ask Inui's opinion), but Mitsuya seemed to not mind. Draken could talk for hours about his bike, and Mitsuya would attentively listen to every word he said as if he genuinely cared.
Oh well, maybe Mitsuya did care. Inui always thought Mitsuya was built differently, especially when it came to Draken.
"Mitsuya will be here around 2PM," Draken appeared behind him, putting on his jacket. "Regular check-up for Impulse."
Inui hummed and didn't bother to turn his attention away from the bike he was working on.
"He said that Impulse was rather loud these days. I wonder what the problem is since it's not like he didn't take care of her."
Draken spent five minutes elaborating his theory on why Mitsuya's Suzuki was in trouble as if Inui had heard of that. He knew Draken was obsessed with Zephyr, but maybe his love for bikes also extended to Impulse.
It was like, when they were dating, not only Mitsuya had to accept Zephyr into their relationship, but Draken had to accept Impulse as well.
Draken grabbed his keys, jiggling them before Inui, prompting him to frown at the intrusion.
"I'm off now; gonna meet that one supplier for the retro Honda I'm working on," Inui rolled his eyes. "Take care of the shop. And Mitsuya will be here—"
"Around 2PM," Inui cut him off. "Yes, I heard you."
Draken clicked his tongue. "Won't be long, so if you can keep him company for like fifteen minutes tops, I'll do the check-up myself."
Inui waved his hand.
"Yeah, yeah, just go already."
D&D Motors was quiet for a while. It was only the clacking and clicking sound of the wrench against the bike and sometimes Inui humming random songs to himself. He was thinking of playing music on his phone when he heard the bell jiggle, indicating that someone had opened the front door.
Inui glanced at the wall clock. Half an hour earlier, I bet it was Mitsuya.
"Heya, you're early." Inui stood up before snatching a clean rag to wipe his hand when the lilac-haired man entered his sight. "Draken told me you'll be here at 2PM."
"Ah, I figured if I came early, I could catch up with him before he left," Mitsuya looked around. "He left already, huh?"
Inui smiled. "He has the same thoughts. If he leaves early, he will get to check Impulse by himself." He craned his neck to see that the bike in question was parked in front of the shop. "Bring her in. I'll do the check-up."
Mitsuya went to fetch his Impulse. Inui was actually impressed with the sweet little ride. If he wasn't too hyper-fixated with his Yamaha, he might consider the Suzuki.
Mitsuya started explaining what he thought was going wrong with his bike. Inui listened as he started the engine, paying particular attention to the purr and other unusual things that might happen.
He kinda had an idea about what went wrong (he agreed, Mitsuya might be partially correct). Still, he didn't wanna overstep Draken, who had promised to check it up on his own, so Inui told Mitsuya, "It seemed working just fine for me, but maybe Draken gotta see her for himself."
Mitsuya sighed, but he gave Inui a grateful smile. "Thought so. Draken is intuitive when it comes to Impulse." He chuckled as if he remembered something. "Yeah, that happened once when her gears needed to be replaced."
Inui raised his eyebrows at that. "Is he? Thought he's only sharp when it's about Zephyr."
Mitsuya shook his head, and a fond smile escaped itself. "Maybe because Impulse almost became his, he sorta had this connection with her."
Inui had yet to hear about this. "Eh? Really?"
"Yeah, Masaway-san, y'know who that is?"—Inui nodded—"introduced him to Impulse back then. He told Draken that if Draken was willing to work to pay him back, he would give him the bike. It's a secondhand bike; even if it needed much repairing, it was still a great deal. Of course, Draken agreed."
Inui glanced at Impulse. She was beautiful, but Inui couldn't imagine Draken riding her instead of Zephyr.
"When Masaway-san took him to the bike shop to get her, apparently he was captivated by none other than—" Mitsuya left his sentence hanging.
Inui finished it for him. "Zephyr."
"Zephyr," Mitsuya repeated. "She was even in worse condition than Impulse, but something about her stole Draken's heart. You know, Draken constantly moaned about how Masaway-san enslaved him when he was younger, but honestly, I thought it was sweet that the old man gave him the lowest price for such a beaut. I'm sure, despite the complaints, Draken is always thankful for that."
"As for Impulse, I owed Draken a big time for connecting me with Masaway-san. Draken wanted a riding buddy, so he taught me how to ride the motorcycle. Then, he brought me to Masaway-san, asking him if he could offer me the same deal. Impulse was always Draken's first choice for me. I didn't know much about bikes back then, so I completely trusted his decision. Masaway-san surprisingly agreed to help me get the bike. I started working for him to pay him back. Cleaning the rooms, mending bedsheets and clothes for the girls, and sometimes cooking for them. It took a while to rebuild her, but still, it was the cheapest deal I could get for."
Now, it all made sense why Draken cared a lot about Zephyr and, by extension, Impulse.
Maybe, caring about Impulse is not the bonus, maybe dating Mitsuya is if Impulse is always destined to be near Draken.
Inui snickered at the thought. Oh well, at least he knew it was never a three-way relationship; it was polyamory at best.
3.
Koko loved shiny things. He loved branded clothes, limited edition knick-knacks, and such. He was also pretty confident about how he dressed, despite Inui often teasing him that Koko would only trouble himself if he thought too hard about what to wear. Having a steady job and a pretty neat income, he was bound to spoil himself. Inui was patient, but the line was drawn when it came to the shopping spree. He would accept whatever gifts Koko bought him but would 'rather drown himself than follow him through thousands of stores and boutiques.'
Koko learned to not be dependable on Inui's (grumpy and super hesitant) company the hard way, so here he was, walking around the shoe store by himself. Just because Inui refused to indulge his love for roaming around didn't mean that Koko wouldn't enjoy looking at pretty things and trying them.
He was just admiring a pair of new-released heels when he felt a friendly clap over his shoulder.
For a moment, he almost hoped it was Inui, realizing that maybe what Koko needed was not his company, but just general presence of his, and—
"Oh, Koko?"
—of course, that didn't happen.
It was Mitsuya, a pair of glasses perched on his nose, hair clip keeping his lilac-colored bangs to stay on the side. He was still in his work attire, holding a notebook in his right hand.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Koko didn't know why he said that. It was the weekend, and the store was crowded with visitors, and Koko wasn't the only one with the urge to spend money.
Mitsuya waved his notebook. "I'm working, honestly. It's for my client; she asked me to find a pair of heels to match her dress."
That makes sense, Koko thought.
"I was window-shopping for inspiration, then my eyes caught that particular heels," Mitsuya pointed out the shoes Koko had been staring at. "Quite suitable with the dress I designed; it was sort of gender-neutral, you know."
Mitsuya took the footwear, examining it in his hand. "I can see why these beauts caught your attention."
Koko might or might not think about Inui when he saw those heels. Maroon-colored leather had a simple yet elegant design; he could almost picture Inui slaying the looks by wearing them. Koko coughed when he realized he didn't respond to what Mitsuya said, but he swore he caught Mitsuya's knowing, twinkling eyes.
"You should get them," Mitsuya said, returning the heels to the display. "It'll suit him."
Koko didn't have time to react or, worse, deny everything because Mitsuya simply walked to the next display.
"To think about, maybe I should look for different heels for my dress. That heels already belong to someone; I can't do that to my client." He scanned over the rows of shoes. "Maybe, you can help me with that, Koko?"
Koko blinked. Mitsuya continued to talk about the dress he designed, how he should complete his client's look, and what he should get for the shoes and accessories. Koko was surprised to find himself intrigued.
He snatched the heels off the display before he caught Mitsuya's arms.
"I got tons of ideas," he grinned. "but first, let me get this wrapped up."
Mitsuya mirrored his grin.
Maybe the Saturday shopping spree could be more interesting.

Listen, just because Inui got along so well with his sister didn't mean that he could do the same with anyone's sister. Especially if the said sisters manifest into incredibly judgycritical, and having-no-filter teenagers.
Maybe he should mention that he was only great with older sisters but not with younger ones.
"Do you think being gay is bad?"
Inui was thankful that the wrench that slipped off his hand didn't fall right on his left foot. It was so close.
Apparently, the reaction didn't faze the girl, Luna.
"Nii-chan said we should be who we are and stop thinking about people's opinions, but Kazuki-kun did that, and he still got bullied."
Inui never thought he would need to repeat what Akane talked to him about years ago. That he would be the Akane in this situation.
"Nii-chan is gay," the other girl, younger than Luna, added. Inui was sure her name was Mana. "He and Draken-kun are boyfriends."
Luna nodded. "Yeah, just like Kazuki-kun and that boy from the soccer club."
It wasn't like Inui didn't want to have this conversation. He was just not used to being around other people, especially younger people. And these younger people apparently had some legit questions that required serious answers. Inui wasn't great with kids and/or explaining things. He didn't want to be spreading misinformation or causing misunderstanding.
But when Mitsuya asked him to watch for Luna and Mana for a while, Inui promised him that he would do his best. He wasn't one to give up on such a simple task just because he hadn't done it before.
He collected the scattered tools around the bike he was working on before turning around to speak more freely.
"Well, being gay is never bad. It's just like being who you are, you know. There's nothing wrong with that." Inui started. "Some girls like boys, some boys like girls. But some girls could also like girls, and some boys could also like boys. Even you can like both at the same time. There's nothing wrong with having a crush on someone."
Luna slid off the sofa before she propped her chin on the coffee table. "Why do people hate Kazuki-kun for liking boys?"
Inui sighed. "Because sometimes, they don't understand that love could be in many forms. They think that boys are only allowed to like girls and vice versa. And they think they have any right to be mean towards people who act differently than they do."
Mana reached for the juice box that Inui had prepared on the table. She took the straw, spinning it around the box.
"That's mean." She spoke before stabbing the straw into her juice box. "If they like orange juice but I like apple juice more, will they treat me the same?"
Inui blinked. "Of course, they shouldn't, Mana. You like what you like; it doesn't harm anybody. No one should mistreat you just because you like something different."
Mana slurped her juice.
"Nii-chan said we should only use our strength to protect," Luna added. "If I kick those boys who bullied Kazuki-kun, then am I doing the right thing?"
Oh boy.
"Did you kick them, Luna?"
Luna shrugged, " I said, if."
But Inui had a feeling that she wasn't entirely telling the truth.
"Well, then I should have asked you, have you tried any other way to protect Kazuki-Kun that doesn't involve kicking people?"
Luna looked at the ceiling, thinking. "Slapping their faces?"
Inui groaned internally. I'm not good with this.
"Not that—" he sighed. "Have you tried talking with them?"
"That's a lame suggestion." Luna scoffed. "They won't listen to me anyway."
Inui glanced at the clock, hoping Draken and Mitsuya were already on their way. He didn't think he could survive another hour trying to explain to these girls why slapping and kicking mean people are wrong when Inui personally thought they deserved it.
Being a big brother is hard as fuck, he mused. Maybe he should give something to Akane for always providing answers when his questions often do not make sense.
5.
It wasn't like the other Toman founders were not aware of the nature of Draken and Mitsuya's relationship. They were all friends before; there was no secret between them. Whether small or big, everyone knew everything about everyone.
The thing was, Draken and Mitsuya were always slightly different than the others. Of course, nobody would say that right in front of their faces. After all, they called themselves The Twin Dragons (Koko later learned that the nickname was based on the fact that they both shared the same tattoo on the side of their head, no wonder there was a commemorative mural inside of D&D Motors). Even if Mitsuya gradually grew his hair out, the Toman founders will always know there was something that connected them on a deeper level.
What Koko didn't know was: apparently, Draken and Mitsuya trusted the Toman founders so much that they didn't feel the need to tell them about the true nature of their relationship. They trusted the others to find out about it naturally.
This was such a stupid decision because here, Koko and Inui were, getting abducted to the coffee shop on the corner of the street by none other than Mikey, Baji, Kazutora, and Pah-chin.
"I thought it's settled that we are on your side?" Inui crossed his arms over his chest, strong judgmental eyebrows curved down into a frown. "If you want to interrogate me or Koko, good luck because we have nothing to offer."
Baji pulled his chair closer to his side.
"That's where you're wrong; you do have something to offer."
Inui's frown deepened. "I have no information about whatever hassle Toman is up to. I left Black Dragons; I left Toman. I don't get involved in delinquency anymore."
"But you do get involved," Kazutora added. "In fact, I think you and Kokonoi get involved pretty deeply."
Koko used the opportunity at the mention of his name. "I know we have differences back then, but trust me. Me and Inupi are clear. We're doing mundane things now. It's just boring stuff, and there's nothing wrong with that."
Pah-chin laughed, slapping his shoulder, which was actually ouch. "Great joke, Koko."
The waitress walked towards their table to serve six glasses, a jar of lemonade, and, apparently, a big bowl of chocolate parfait. She had to sense the tension because she left as soon as she hurriedly said, 'Enjoy the drinks.'
Mikey pulled the bowl of sweet treats to himself.
"I always believe that whoever chooses to leave delinquency will eventually come back when they miss the rush of the adrenaline," Mikey started, taking a spoonful of chocolate ice cream with choco chips on top of it. "Apparently, it isn't just the case with Draken and Mitsuya, but yours too."
Koko watched Inui reach for the lemonade, pouring himself a glass.
"Damn right, we don't miss all those stuff." Inui sipped his drink. "I'm sure neither do Draken and Mitsuya."
Mikey stirred his sweet treat aggressively at that. "Think they trust you more than us?"
Koko coughed. "Absolutely not, I don't think so. You guys are, like, their most important people. Draken and Mitsuya trust y'all more than anything. We're lucky if we come in second."
Mikey took another spoonful of ice cream. "We'll see about that." He glanced at the cafe entrance as if he was waiting for someone to walk through it anytime.
And as if it was orchestrated before, the glass door buzzed open. Draken and Mitsuya were walking side by side.
"I can't believe they didn't tell us, but they did tell you two," Baji hissed.
Kazutora gave Koko stink eyes when Koko happened to look his way. "You two are literally nobody."
Draken had to sense something was not right because he didn't pull another chair and just stood at the end of the table, frowning.
"What is it now?"
Pah-chin sprung off his seat.
"You guys are dating, and you didn't tell us?!"
Baji spat. "That's a real dick move! You don't think we're worthy enough to know?"
"Since you're not in Toman, that means we're not friends anymore?!"
Koko caught Inui's amused expression, the corner of his lips threatening to twitch. He was equally confused with Inui when the Toman founders cornered them to this small coffee shop. He thought something had happened that required their presence as ex-Black Dragons and ex-Toman; Koko literally wracked his brain to find out whether he and Inui got unfinished business in the past.
Apparently, it was all a big misunderstanding.
"We don't hide anything," Mitsuya stepped up. "What do you mean, you didn't know we were dating? We've been dating even before we left Toman."
Mikey didn't lift his eyes from his parfait. "Kenchin, I think we all will know if you're dating that long."
Draken scoffed. "You all did know! I literally kissed Mitsuya when we had a party in Pah's house that Christmas!" He looked straight at Pah-chin. "You even yelled, 'I knew it!' that time, don't you remember, Pah?"
Koko had never heard the story, but he enjoyed how the table had turned.
"But it's just because you're trapped under the mistletoe like I've planned," Pah-chin dodged the bullet. "And Peh kissed Yasuda too, by the time way!"
"Of course," Mitsuya frowned. "They've been dating ever since."
Inui cleared his throat. Even with a bored expression on his face, Koko knew very well how much he found the situation to be amusing.
"As much I love to watch your silly argument, I need to remind you that you owe us an apology? Since it's not our fault that you have been so—what's the word, Koko?"
Koko grinned. "Stupid?"
"What I mean is oblivious, but that works too."
6.
Inui would stop laughing if he could, but the problem was, he couldn't.
He was physically incapable of doing that.
"I'm seriously gonna kick your ass, Inupi."
The threat would be threatening if the person who gave him the threat had the upper hand in the whole situation.
Unfortunately, he didn't.
"Seriously, will you just shut up—"
Inui raised his hand, deciding he would do Draken the favor because he was nice.
It took a while to regain himself, and when he did, he tried his best to control his facial muscle despite how hard it was to do so.
"Let me get this straight," he started, one hand lifting the object that had been the reason he was breathless. "You wanna make this? You? Like, you're actually gonna go sewing this? With needle and thread? You, o' mighty Draken, are gonna make a handmade teddy bear?"
Draken snatched the doll off Inui's hand. "I know I shouldn't tell you anything!"
Inui snickered. "Wrong move, dude. I'm always gonna find out about this." He looked around. "Is that why we're here? To meet anyone who would teach you, making this?"
Draken reached for the paper bag and shoved the teddy bear inside. "It's Yasuda, one of Mitsuya's Home Ecs Club's members."
Inui raised his eyebrows. "Isn't she working for Mitsuya now? Don't you think it's too risky?"
"I trust her," Draken answered curtly before suddenly standing up to wave his hand toward someone at the cafe's entrance.
The girl waved him back enthusiastically before she rushed to their table.
"I'm so happy you called me," she took a seat in front of them. As if she had just noticed Draken wasn't alone, she hesitantly offered her hand to Inui. "And um—"
"This is my accomplice; he accidentally found out about our meeting," Draken grumbled.
Inui threw a charming smile at Yasuda.
"Seishu Inui, nice to meet you, Yasuda-san."
Yasuda was initially wary of Inui's presence, but since Draken treated him like Inui was invisible, Yasuda was quick to melt into the conversation. Inui was satisfied to be an audience, giving his opinion and teasing Draken occasionally.
It was actually impressive that Draken went to this length for Mitsuya. Apparently, Draken wanted to redo some old project for Mitsuya's upcoming birthday. He had done something similar, making an amigurumi keychain for his boyfriend back then. Inui knew Mitsuya loved to make every gift with his hand, and Draken apparently wanted to do the same. But, of course, only some were gifted with a magic hand like Mitsuya. Draken's amigurumi keychain was adequate at best, but it didn't stop him from trying to make something else.
Jumping into making handmade teddy bears was sort of a giant leap.
"You know it will be a next level harder, Draken-kun," Yasuda examined the doll. "To make something remotely similar to this will take time, even for me or even Mitsuya-kun himself."
Draken nodded; his face was so serious that it discouraged Inui from teasing him.
"I understand, but I'm willing to try."
The determination had to be so apparent that Yasuda smiled before she pulled a notebook from her bag.
"Well, if you insist, I'll guide you through it," she started scribbling.
Inui found himself enraptured with how Yasuda explained every step in making a doll, what kind of materials they should prepare, how to make the base pattern, and how to start filling the doll and sewing them. Inui tended to let unimportant things fly over his head, but not this time. He actually learned something from Yasuda. Even if he wasn't the one who would make the doll.
"I actually want to know, Draken-kun," Yasuda asked when they were taking a break so that Yasuda could enjoy her latte and pastries.
Draken sipped his coffee. "Yeah? About what?"
"Why didn't you just buy the teddy bear?"
Suddenly something occurred to Inui at the same time.
"Or, why don't you get it from the claw machine? Didn't the arcade you visit regularly get that one teddy bear claw machine?"
Inui had pretty much a prediction about the answer, but he didn't expect Draken to say, "Because I have a very specific design in my mind."
And when Draken pulled something from his jacket pocket, Inui was unsure who gasped louder, himself or Yasuda.
Maybe both.
7.
Koko and Inui didn't mean to eavesdrop.
It was just hard when Draken and Mitsuya were being so loud. Also, since the bike shop wasn't exclusively Draken's, and the clock still showed that they were in the appropriate time of operating hours, it would not be unethical if Koko and Inui happened to be there.
"It's not much," they watched Draken scratching the back of his head bashfully as if he had been half-believing that maybe Mitsuya was exaggerating when he said he loved the gift. "It's not even a high-quality product; why do you like it so much?"
Mitsuya made a face at him, hugging the gift protectively. "It's from you; I love the sentiment that you're trying your hardest to get this for me."
Koko rolled his eyes, pretending to gag at the display of affection. Inui elbowed him.
"I wouldn't say, trying the hardest—"
Mitsuya laughed. "Mikey told me you're spending hours in the arcade, doing Only-God-Knows-What."
That apparently got Draken flustered. Inui snickered silently.
"That little shit—"
"I told you you have lost the ability to surprise me," Mitsuya grinned, hugging his gift once more before he lifted the teddy bear to his cheek. "Thank you for your hard work, though; I love it."
Koko and Inui watched Mitsuya, ridiculously happy with the gift Draken fished out from the arcade. Inui didn't know why Draken altered his plan at the last minute; he didn't think Mitsuya would even mind if his teddy was awful or bad-looking. Mitsuya was too kindhearted to diss something like that. It was the sentimental value that mattered.
He also didn't think Draken would be chickened out that he decided to not execute the original plan.
Maybe he couldn't finish it—
Or, or, perhaps Draken had prepared something grander—
It's also possible that—
"—I know you're sneaking around and eavesdropping, Inupi."
Inui straightened his body; even after getting caught red-handed, he still had the audacity to dodge the bullet. "We heard nothing, right, Koko?"
Koko nodded. "Absolutely nothing."
Mitsuya appeared behind Draken, the teddy in his arm.
"How much do they hear?"
Draken snorted. "Nothing."
Mitsuya nodded along. "Since they knew nothing, should we tell them about your birthday gift for me?"
"Do pray tell," Inui responded.
"Oh, just this adorable teddy he managed to get after countless attempts on the claw machine—"
That was when Inui saw it. The teddy was not familiar but also very recognizable now that Inui could see it in close proximity. The shape, the appearance, Inui was 100% sure about it now. It looked slightly better than the scribble on Yasuda's notebook, if not slightly.
Draken didn't alter his plan; he didn't change anything about the gift. In fact, he might have accidentally succeeded, far better than he might expect.
"Oi, Mitsuya?"
Mitsuya hummed.
"I think you might wanna check the ribbon on your teddy."
Happy birthday, Mitsuya!
"I'm actually impressed with how Draken proposed to Mitsuya on his birthday. He must be totally smitten, if he went through the hard way to do so."
"Yeah. I mean, I teased him a lot about his plan, but honestly I'm glad it worked out. Gotta be the best birthday gift. Lucky for us, he won't need more."
"It's suck that my birthday's practically April Fool's Day. I won't believe it if someone pulls the exact thing on me."
"I'll make sure to pick some other day, then."
"What—"
"You heard me."
"SEISHU INUI, COME BACK HERE AND EXPLAIN WHAT YOU JUST SAID."
