Summary
Nearly forty years after Max and the other vampires were defeated, Santa Carla, California is still a strange place to live.
Michael Emerson is a retired police officer who sometimes assists the Frog brothers with paranormal investigations. He’s not a vampire, but there are still some lingering vampy side-effects, one of which is David, who came back as a house guest one day and never left.
Now, there’s a monster hunting children in the Santa Carla area. Michael, along with the Frogs and some old friends will have to team up once again and face down the darkness.

They put "incinerate the bodies" in the handbook for a reason. Pity nobody trained the Frog Brothers in the art of vampire-killing rigorously enough to know that.
