The first thing Sherlock awoke to was pain. Agonising, unbearable, wretched pain. He would have curled in on himself and died right there where he lay if it wasn’t for the cracking of his limbs and stabbing in his chest. Through the rain-soaked fog, he saw stained red brick at every angle, rotting wooden boxes laid stacked up in front of him, hiding his figure from the sounds of bustling roads behind them.
