"Callum, there's someone I'd like you to meet," Rayla said excitingly as she rushed towards him.
Callum looked up from his book that he was currently working on for his brother, and smiled as she smiled back at him. The woman next to her was also a night elf but something about her was different. Raya seemed excited to have the other elf with her and she faced the other elf before smiling and speaking slowly at the elf.
"This is Callum, my er, well... Boyfriend..."
Callum sighed at that with a shake of his head and a smile on his lips. "Boyfriend? Well that's different," the other elf watched curiously before looking at Raya.
"Boyfriend uh? That's... That must be nice," she said and faced me with a smile on her lips.
"I'm Alexandria. I'm one of Raya's friends. Well new found friend I should say. Also I'm deaf so please look at me when you talk, if you don't mind. I can read your lips that way, and also your aunt is very interesting, she has told me a lot about you and your brother," Callum's ears perked up at the sound of his aunt.
"You know Amara!? How!?" She giggled at that with a smile.
"She saved me actually, I was injured in a battle and she was the one to rescue me. I was... Surprised actually that she put so much trust into a night elf. Plus, I lost my family to... Nevermind then enough about me, please tell me about how you and Raya met."
Callum smiled at the both of them as they sat down and began to tell the story about how they met and what inspired them to take care of the baby dragon. And the adventure that inspired. She watched him with interest as she smiled at his hand gestures. She laughed at some of the parts and shook her head at other parts of the story. Sometimes Raya would take time to tell some of the story as well. They both laughed as well and Ezran walked in with jelly tarts and smiled as he walked towards the trio while shoving his face from the plate in his hands. Bait sat on his head happily as he watched us with a boring and grumpy look on his face.
"Hi guys, who's this?" Asked Ezran, with a mouth full of jelly tart.
"This is Alexandria, one of the night elf's. She's deaf so face her when you speak to her okay?" Said Raya and Ezran nodded.
They began talking and he laughed offering her a pastry. She took it unsure as Callum nodded. She patted Bait as he lifted his head up happily before turning into a different color. She smiled happily as she looked around the room.
"So? Um, well I guess I better go meet Amara, she's expecting me for something."

Silence filled the castle that night as she wandered to the library to sit by the fire place. It wasn't that she couldn't sleep, it was that sleep eluded her. With a strange new place and all new faces to memorize, it was difficult for her. Gren had grabbed a chair and put it next to the fire before he turned to her, smiling.
'Can't sleep either?' She nodded unsure.
'New place and all, usually my sister and I would talk for hours on end and it would piss my parents off. We were close though. What about you? How come you can't sleep?'
He shrugged. 'Needed some alone time I guess. Things get so hectic and translating for Amara with feelings? Well,' he rubbed the back of his neck with a shy smile.
She nodded understanding. 'Yeah, I understand that totally. It's weird as a hearing person but as a deaf person? Well...."
He sat besides her, with a smile as they faced each other, talking about things from their childhoods to how Gren got into the hands of Amara. She was afraid to tell him the story about the war between the night elves and the hunters from one of the kingdoms. She was afraid of the conflict that it might cause if anyone knew about the war, and yet two of the seven kingdoms were keen on stopping the hunters and creating new laws that protected elves of all kind. He nudged her smiling and she smiled back.
'Not used to a hearing person sign. Is that common here?' She asked and he shrugged.
'Not uncommon but normally they'll have me translate for them in case they need help with security and stuff here at the castle and what not but... I honestly like translating for Amara, and she took me under her wing and taught me a lot of things about the deaf community. She's protective of the boys ever since the king died. And I kinda understand why, she took an oath and such but to grow up without a father or mother? That's something else.'
She shrugged at that. 'I grew up without my parents most of the time. My dad came first in the assassination the night the hunters came and found us. My sister and mother told me to help where I wouldn't be in the way which was tending to the injured and they came after me. I was injured and knocked unconscious. I was lucky because they couldn't get any information out of me. Any survivors disappeared that night to god knows where and they left me alone. I feel completely lost without my family you know?'
He hugged her tightly in understanding before they laughed as she brushed away the tears. 'Sorry, didn't mean to make things awkward for you.'
He shook his head at that and smiled as he showed her to her room and watched her carefully. "How about dinner tomorrow? I can make some arrangements for us to have dinner and maybe some time by the water if you like. Or...."
He rubbed the back of his neck again in awkwardness as she giggled. "Gren, how about a picnic and maybe that river that we spotted the other day over by the trail."
He stopped for a minute and thought about it. "You mean the town over? Sure, I'll have the horses and stuff ready in the morning and I'll run it by Amara. Good night Alexandria, till tomorrow."
With that, he kissed her hand as she blushed and watched him walk away. She smiled as she got ready for bed and hummed softly more to herself than anyone else and it wasn't like she could hear herself anyways. Her dreams consisted of Gren and the adventures that they might endeavor.
