Shae was peacefully sleeping in his bed. All would've been fine if he didn't have school today, but alas, he did. He didn't hate school, but he didn't exactly want to go. It's too much work for no reason. There are always loud people and you can't concentrate on anything because jeez...They're...Too much...
Shae's little sister, Jewelian, went into his room and started shaking the bed. He just wanted to rest some more- a couple more minutes even- He began to wake up. "Whaaat...?" Shae glared at Jewelian. She was unfazed. "It's time to get up!" She smiled at him. Shae thought for a moment, then sighed. He can't skip, his parents would kill him. "...Fine." He sat up and went to his closet to find clothes to wear. Satisfied that she managed to get her brother up, Jewelian left to get ready herself. Shae found a purple hoodie with a pink diamond in the middle of it. One of his relatives got it for him, he didn't know and didn't care who it was. Probably his grandparents or something. He also found dark blue pants and put on black boots. He was ready to face the day.
He stepped out of his room and looked down the stairs. It sounded like music was playing. Great. His parents were already up. He quietly went down the steps and looked for his backpack, trying not to have his parents notice. He found it near the front door and silently went out the door. Jewelian was already outside waiting on him. "Come on, brother! Let's go!" She urged him as she walked away. Shae started walking, a bit behind her so he could postpone as much as possible. On their way, Shae catches sight of a path that leads to a cottage. "I shouldn't visit him now...Maybe later after school.." He said to himself.
The two children continued on their walk until they got to the school. It's early, the bell hasn't rung yet. Shae skims around to see if anything interesting has happened. This purple-haired kid was messing with some younger kids. One of them tells him to stop, it looks like he didn't listen. Another punched him. A cry could be heard for a moment. This was normal for Shae, watching that bully getting karma, usually daily. "What an idiot..." He thought to himself. A subtle smile formed on his face. He started heading to class a bit early.
His smile immediately faded when he realized he had math class. First period. Oh, joy. What a way to start the day.
