He is the worst doctor I have ever had. He gave me a manual prostate exam, I am pretty sure you can do those with tricorders!!! Violating! Don't you have to pass some kind of medical ethics exam to be a doctor, or do they skip that for posh greenhorns?!

Doctor Bashir is truly the stuff salutatorians are made of. You may not know this, but he was second in his class at Starfleet Medical. He would have been first in his class had he not mistaken a Preganglionic Fiber for a Postganglionic Nerve. Nevertheless he is a natural healer with a calling for medicine. He had his choice of Posts throughout the Federation, but chose Deep Space Nine, for a chance to experience real frontier medicine. When dealing with Doctor Bashir, you can tell that all his life he has dreamed of being a [Read More…]

My heart yearns for his embrace, my body aches for his touch. If he were here right now I would be kissing him, when he isn’t here I’m thinking about kissing him. He’s the best doctor in the galaxy, and I don’t understand why he is fighting this thing between us. I know they say if something seems too good to be true it probably is, and maybe that’s so, but right now I would like nothing more than for him to be f [Read More…]

Dr. Julian Bashir utilized neo-analeptic transmitters to elevate the neural output of my brain's motor cortex, which in turn stimulated acetylcholine absorption to 14% above normal and caused an increase in tensile muscle strength. One side effect I experienced was warmth due to neuromuscular tissue stimulation. However, eventually, my neural pathways adapted to the increased tensile strength, allowing an increased ability to move in higher gravity. It was possible for me to walk within an hour, although only for a limited period of time as the treatment wore off. With each successive treatment, the effects lasted longer and my muscles grew stronger. I had to alternate between low and Earth-normal gravity conditions during the treatment, as changing stimuli to my motor cortex eventually resulted in the loss of fine motor control. After two or three days of the treatment, Julian explained to me that the effects would become irreversible.
I declined to continue with the treatments, but found my time with Dr. Julian Bashir was invaluable, and realized that I can depend on others. At least until they start avoiding me!
Julian, I know you’re reading this! I think we need to break up. Please call me.

He told me he was afraid I was going to have a heart attack during a bloody racquetball game. Well, I didn’t ask for his professional opinion, I asked for his best game!!! Condescending prick.

I was having a medical emergency, and when I asked Dr. Bashir what happened, he said he wasn’t going to try and explain it to me because he didn’t know. He told me to “get rest” and then shrugged. Still better than the service at Quark’s.

He told me I had Zanthi Fever! That only affects older Betazoids! There has to be some kind of mistake, and I’d like a second opinion. He gets three stars for being pretty, though. Not the brightest star in the Beta Zeta system, but nice to look at.

I'd rather see any Ferenginar doctor over Bashir. First of all, Federation – so won't be bribed for the good stuff, and when I asked for the Good Stuff he said that federation medicine doesn't come with the risks of recreational use! Well, I have Tripolar Disorder!! What does he think?? I’m trying to re-sell the stuff? (if you are reading this review and you need a hook up then you CANNOT get one at Quark's Bar, Grill, holosuite and Arcade! I'm serious!!! At least no thanks to this cut rate federation quack!)
