Summary
The Schultz Family have a tradition that has been upheld for the past few generations. Their eldest son is to join the Garrison for ten years before they retire and then take over the family business. While Priscella is the only child and heir, she still joins the army and becomes a member of the Garrison. For years she goes through the day-to-day actions of standing guard on a Wall where nothing happens, waiting.
In the year 849 her father passes away and her waiting is over. Ella suddenly finds herself free to do whatever she wishes, and deep inside she has only one thing that she wants to do. She requests a transfer to the Survey Corps to start the journey to bring her to her fate.
What Ella did not plan for was to cross paths with a man that she met once before, three years ago, on a night that she will never forget. While she does everything that she can to ignore him and their past connection, eventually she fails, and in her moment of weakness she starts on a new path that changes her fate.
