We Haven’t Located Us Yet

Summary:

But it would be nice to gain something out of all the hurt. To actually visit a place and take it all in, not have it be the backdrop to yet another business deal. Another chance to have her brothers back. To have that small slant of light shine again. And if an impromptu trip to India to join her broken brothers in finding her other broken brother was the only way to do it, then Shiv's gonna do it.

Kendall, Roman and Shiv Roy reunite on the Darjeeling Limited train, for the first time since they sold Waystar to GoJo, in order to track down their brother Connor who’s gone AWOL

(Aka this is The Darjeeling Limited but the whitmans are swapped out with the Roys)

Notes:

I have never written a fic on here before so please bare with me regarding the text formatting cause I am so confused. I will try and fix it

Chapter Text

The wheels begin to jut and jut and jut. Each jut pushing the train further along the track,

And further away from the man barrelling through never ending clumps of people, his bags flailing and smashing into bystanders as he sprints through the archway of the train station and down the platform.

The jutting has evolved into chugging.

“Yo!” the man yelps as beads of sweat begin to seep into the bandages bound tightly around his head.

“YO!” He uses the last bit of his strength to push himself faster, smashing his shoes against the concrete as he advances on the train.

By rare luck, the man catches up to a point where he flings his baggage on board and jumps on, grabbing the hand rail to steady himself.

The man grabs his bags and slides open the door.

“May I help you sir?”

“Uh hey dude, yeah one sec” the man blurts out whilst slowly catching his breath.

The man puts down his bags and grabs an envelope from his wheat linen blazer pocket. He takes the ticket out of the envelope and hands it to the ticket inspector.

“Ah yes, welcome aboard Mr Roy! I’ll show you to your compartment where the other guests on your reservation are waiting for you”

The breath Kendall had just gotten back immediately hitches. His eyes dart to the floor. I’m not ready for this. I shouldn’t have come. Is it too late to jump off?

“Sir?”

Kendall looks up at the inspector and just nods politely, pressing his thoughts down as he follows the inspector up the train.

Kendall stops in front of his compartment door. He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and reaches for the handle.
