Work Text:
Izuna pouts at his rival theatrically.
"It's not fair!" He waves at the blanket nii-san has wrapped around Tobirama until all that can be seen is white hair and red eyes. "How come you let him, but not me!"
"I didn't exactly pick this either, you know." Tobirama sniffs. He tries to make it disdainful, but his clogged nose only makes him sound pathetic instead. "I woke up like this."
And what an admission that is, to tell two Uchiha he sleeps so soundly in their bed that he won't wake up even as they bind him with cloth.
"It's good for you and you know it." Nii-san elbows his way into the room, a steaming bowl of udon resting on the tray in his hands. "You were shivering so hard last night, you woke me up."
"You're still doing it," Izuna presses a hand to Tobirama's neck, feeling the worrying warmth. "Your fever's barely gone down at all."
"I'm sick, not dead." Tobirama hunches down into the blanket, grumpily burying himself in the folds of fabric. "If you'd just let me sleep it off, I'd be fine."
"Not happening." Nii-san kneels, scooping up a mouthful of soup and holding the spoon to Tobirama's mouth. "You need liquids."
Tobirama frowns, and the way his tired eyes squint is adorable. Izuna thinks so at least, and nii-san's expression shows he doesn't disagree either.
"Come on," he wraps his arms around his lover, holding Tobirama close and not so coincidentally trapping his arms. "Eat. For us?"
"Fine." The word is clipped, but Tobirama opens his mouth and Izuna will count that as a battle won. "But this isn't going to become a regular thing."
Izuna snuggles his rival, pressing a cold nose to Tobirama's cheek just for the annoyed look it gets him, and exchanges a knowing smirk with his brother. After the two of them had to watch helplessly as Tobirama fell sick twice last winter, see him struggling through his work without so much as a break, there's no chance they'll let him repeat that experience again.
No, Tobirama can complain all he wants.
He'll just have to put up with them.
