Chapter Text
So Mun hasn't came back yet.
So Mun hasn't fucking came back yet.
It's been, how long? Eleven and a half hours since he quickly left breakfast to go defeat an evil spirit. Hana figured out and said it was only a level one, unless there were multiple and she didn't catch it?
As much as she tried to snap out of it, she couldn't. He's nineteen now, and he's matured more after being a counter for over a year now and having more experience, but you never know what could happen.
" Hana, are you still going to wait for him? "
The sudden voice that broke the silence was none other from Ms. Chu. She looked worried at the younger woman, obviously concerned. She felt pity for Hana as she's been sitting at the table in front of the door for the past two hours.
She looked at her phone and the clock read 10:31, clicking her tongue in exhaustion. " I'm just worried something bad happened to him. " Hana took a sip of her water and she rubbed her eyes. " I'm staying up until he gets back here. You don't have to worry about me. "
Ms. Chu sighed as he realized there was no point in arguing with the girl so she just said goodnight and went downstairs to go get some sleep. Hana put her head down on the table.
She realized at one point she actually has a crush on So Mun; I mean, what is there not to like about him? He's smart, tall, kind, handsome, the entire package in one person. She remembered the first time she felt feelings about the boy. The moment when they were in the training room and she was cleaning So Mun's wounds after the night before's fight with Shin. The conversation they had was so sweet and gentle, she realized after she went upstairs she was blushing when Mo-tak was teasing her.
And she officially got the crush on him whenever she saw him working out in the gym, fighting the punching bag. He was shirtless, however she could only see his back. Yet, you can tell he had muscles. Her face flushed just recalling the memory. His heavy breathing, his legs, and his structure, she remembers every part of him.
Unfortunately, there had been multiple times where Hana has had..inappropriate thoughts about the boy; Sure, he was nineteen and out of high school now, but that still made it a little weird for her. Yet, she couldn't stop making scenario's. How So Mun would kiss her passionately, or how he would pick her up while Hana's legs were wrapped around his waist, midsection's rubbing against each other, or seeing So Mun shirtless again, just from the front...
Wait. Was she a pervert by thinking these things? Hana wasn't sure, but it made her question the answer. How would he react if he found out she'd been thinking about him like this? What if he thought Hana the same exact why? She couldn't tell if So Mun was the type of person to be into sexual thoughts to much, but you never know.
She was yanked out of her thoughts as her phone rang on the table, she quickly saw the contact name, gasped, and picked up the call.
" You dumbass! What the fuck happened with you?! I thought you died!"
" Meet me at our talking bench. " Was all So Mun said calmly before he hung up on Hana.
" This piece of shit... " Hana grumbled as she picked up her phone and slid on her jacket then leaving the noddle shop.
-
Where had So Mun been this entire time? He actually quickly defeated the evil spirit, he just decided to have the day to himself outside. He went on a jog, ate some corndogs, and practiced at a nearby gym. He wasn't mad at any of his fellow counters, he just wanted to relax for a bit. He thought about Hana most of the day, and that resulted in the phone call.
It wasn't until he saw Hana desperately running towards him that he realized how stressed out she probably was without knowing why he disappeared. He immediately felt horrible, but hid his emotions so he wouldn't lose his confidence. He was wearing a grey zipped up hoodie was black sweatpants while she saw the older girl wearing almost exactly the same thing.
" Well, you wanna fucking tell me where you've been today?" "
Hearing her voice, he instantly smiled. She was so cute when she was mad at him, even if it wasn't intentional. " Aren't you happy to see me? "
Hana scoffed as she stepped closer to So Mun, barley inches away from his face. " Explain, before I beat you up right here. "
So Mun tilted his head to pretend being confused. " Isn't that kind of mean to do to your crush? "
Hana's confidence disappeared in a second as she stared wide-eyes at him. " How.. "
" Do I know? " So Mun smirked at the girl. " I read your memory yesterday. You just didn't realize it. " Hana tried to back up, but failed. So Mun put a strong grip on her arm.
She raised her eyebrow. " When? "
" In the training room. Obviously. Whenever we were fighting and I was shoving you against the floor, I read some of your memories. "
Hana looked at him, impressed. " You've learned alot. " However, she was secretly panicking at what the boy was about to do/say next. He was very unpredictable.
So Mun clicked his tongue. " I didn't know you saw me shirtless already. Luckily, it was only from the back. You can't see the front side yet. Your not allowed to. "
If Hana had been drinking water at the moment he said that, she would've choked on it. Or spit it on his face. She looked at So Mun again, this time in shock. " You found that out too? " He nodded.
She found herself lost in her thoughts as she tried to figure out what she had to say next. Maybe she should run back to the noodle shop and not look at him for the next two years, or confess to him how she feels.
" This might be an odd question, but... when do I get to see the front side? " Hana asked quietly instead. She won't lie, she was a little embarrassed about asking that.
So Mun cupped her cheek and stroked his thumb against it. " Isn't it obvious? When you become my girlfriend. " And with that, he leaned down and kissed her.
Nothing could've prepared Hana when he taller boy pressed his lips onto hers. She could've sworn she was hallucinating until she felt his hand stroking her hair. His lips were soft and his breath smelled like mint, reminding Hana how the elder boy was.
She could've pulled away but she didn't. No, instead Hana continued their kiss as she brought her hands up to his cheeks. She couldn't believe she was actually kissing So Mun.
After a while So Mun pulled away from Hana. His face was slightly flushed a shade of pink as he now looked at his hands.
" You probably already know this, but I like you. Alot. I remember the first time I saw you at the noodle shop entrance when you were going off to fight Ji Cheong-sin for the first time, before I became a counter. Then, whenever you saved me from Hyuk-woo and his friends. We've had countless interactions, and I've always liked you. The way you fight people is so attractive, and your moves are memorizing. Your face itself is so beautiful I could stare at you for hours like you were a piece of art. And yes, even though your a little cold and mean in general, you still have a sort spot in your heart and I find that adorable. Honestly, I admire you so much because you know how to stay calm in crazy and hard situations. I know this sounds insanely stupid and cringe and horribly romantic but I've been wanting to confess to you for the past year and had to wait until I became an entire adult to do all this and...When I was gone today, I don't know how your gonna feel about this, but you were on my mind mostly, which led me to right now for fucks sake. I like you, Hana. "
So Mun tilted his head again in actual confusion this time. God he's so cute. " Actually, I think I love you. "
Hana smiled at him as she wrapped her hands around his neck and looked into his eyes.
" God, I love you too So Mun. " She kissed him.
So Mun smiled during the kiss as he focused again on Hana's lips. She was the one that activated the kiss this time, and she said I love you to him oh my fucking god.
She refused to pull away and So Mun didn't mind at all. Hana's lips stayed on his lips until she pulled away for a second for them to catch their breath and then continued to kiss him.
When she looked at So Mun's eyes, she saw how pretty they were. He looked like he was about to cry of joy but he collected himself together.
" Does this mean we're together, together now? "
Hana nodded with her arms still around his neck.
He jumped and ran around the area in happiness as she watched him act like his inner child.
He's my boyfriend now, I can't believe this.
Once he came back, he wrapped her in such a big bear hug she squeaked in surprise. She found herself laughing at how the current situation was going. " I love you. "
So Mun poked at her dimple. " I love you too. " He said as they rejoined lips again for the nth time that night.
