Summary
*Inspired by Season 3b* Stiles and Isaac are secretly hooking up and maybe even falling in love. Meanwhile, Stiles might be possessed, there's a Werecoyote on the loose, and Japanese Oni are emerging from the darkness. The pack needs to work together, but Scott is a terrible Alpha.
Characterizations: Stiles is obsessed with solving cases; Isaac is a lost, lonely, and traumatized boy; and Scott is a hot angry mess. It always bothered me how underutilized and under-explored Isaac's traumas were in the show, so it's a big part of this fic. I'm also leaning into the supernatural and magic stuff that I wish the show had developed better.
Full Disclosure: Yes, there's heavy smut at the beginning of this series, but I'm also attempting to tell an interesting, emotional, and action-filled story with a slow-burn romance. This fic began as a smut one-shot I wrote for fun (titled "Paint Me") so I challenged myself to actually explore what could happen as a result of that sexual encounter.
