Birthdays were always celebrated. That is just a fact, whether that celebration be a party or simply others wishing you a ‘happy birthday’.
The universe making fate a bit simpler by putting your perfect match's birthday forever imprinted somewhere on your body is a blessing and a curse. It really depends on the person.
To HiMERU it was a curse, for “he” is the perfect idol, HiMERU exists for his fans; no-one else. So the pesky date tainting his skin is nothing but a bother. May 18th forever imprinted on his skin.
It was a slip-up, letting anyone see the stain. “Hmm?” Feeling his irritation grow before a word was even spoken HiMERU turned to the source, being met with a smug face. “May 18th huh? Y’know that’s my birthday.”
“HiMERU fails to see what that has to do with anything Amagi.” Already knowing where it was going HiMERU felt the all too familiar headache forming that comes along with Rinne Amagi.
“ Oh come on Merumeru, I know you’re smart.” Rinne throws his arm around HiMERU’s shoulders. “So tell me, when is your birthday?” With a heavy sigh, HiMERU knocked Rinne’s arm off himself.
“HiMERU’s birthday is July 7th.” Rinne threw his head back with an annoyed, loud groan.
“You know that’s not what I meant, I asked your birthday Merumeru.” With a short glare, HiMERU wordlessly walked to the door. Hand on the door knob HiMERU spoke.
“HiMERU’s birthday is July 7th. HiMERU will not repeat himself again, Amagi.”

As per usual birthdays were always celebrated. “Happy birthday, HiMERU!” A phrase he had heard countless times today, gratefully accepting the well wishes and gifts even though the distant guilt of none of this belonging to him lingers.
Of course the rest of the Crazy:B members were in full force for a party, Niki going all out for the food of course. He was almost relaxed seeing everyone enjoying themselves until that peace was ruined by an arm slinging around his shoulder, "Come on Merumeru, it's a party! Get more into it!" Laughing loudly, Rinne was taking full advantage of it being a party and had apparently decided that HiMERU was not.
"HiMERU is enjoying the party just fine, Amagi." Brushing the arm off his shoulder with a hint of annoyance seeping into his voice. Rinne just continued to laugh.
"Sure you are Merumeru." Rinne seemed to be done, more interested in going back to the party but turned towards HiMERU once more. "Oh I guess I haven't said this yet." HiMERU tilted his head, waiting for Rinne to continue. "Happy birthday, HiMERU." With that Rinne walked back to the crowd leaving HiMERU in slight shock. Amagi, that damn bastard. Shaking his head HiMERU himself also went to join the crowd.

It was far too early in the morning to be dealing with this. To be dealing with the headache that is Rinne Amagi. "Do share why you needed to wake up HiMERU at five in the morning, Amagi." Exhausted and not even bothering to try and hide the annoyance that clearly showed upon his face, HiMERU glared at Rinne.
"Oh but Merumeru, if it really bothered ya that much ya wouldn't have come out and met me." Rinne grinned at HiMERU with knowing eyes. In response he received a huff and the crossing of arms.
"Just get to the point Amagi." Rinne shuffled for a moment, looking uncharacteristically nervous. He held out something wrapped up, a gift? HiMERU looked at Rinne in utter confusion, though the other was avoiding his gaze. "What is this?"
"A present." That did not ease the confusion in the slightest. Rinne finally turned and locked eyes with HiMERU. "I like to gamble after all but, I think I'm right about this one." He set the present in his hands. "Happy birthday Merumeru." Eyes wide HiMERU scrambled for his phone, checking the date.
"You-" His mind was racing for words, searching for something, anything to say, tell him he was wrong, but his mind drew a blank.
And so, he gave in. Rinne Amagi, always the gambler, had struck his jackpot. "I can't remember the last time I heard those words today." A small but genuine smile gracing his face, HiMERU softly spoke, "Thank you Rinne."
