Helpful Hints for Prompting:
I laugh as I watch Pai and Sky watching the most recent race. Pai seems to be tense because Sky has been praising the new racers' skills all night to purposely get under Pai's skin because they fought before they got here. My advice about Sky not wanting to be spent a bunch of money on was not taken by Pai so now he is super jealous and it's his fault. A small tug on my shirt takes me out of my thoughts and I look over to see Rain worried. So, I shake my head to get my thoughts away so I can listen to what he's worried about. As my thoughts start to disappear I ask, "What's wrong Baby?"
He looks at me and then changes where he is looking and as I follow his sight I see Pai and Sky. I am more looking at Pai who looks like he is going to rip the other racer’s head off or at least the arm that Sky is touching. I know Sky is angry with Pai because he lied, but isn't this all going too far? I turn back to my boyfriend who still looks worried and reassure him, "They will work everything out, they have been through too much already for them not to be okay. You know that they love each other just like how much I love you, which is a lot more than anyone else." I smile at him and lean down to kiss the top of his head.
When I back away I see his cheeks are red and I smile that I did that. He smiles and then sighs, "I know that they will make up eventually because it's Pai and Sky, they fight but always makeup. I am just worried because of how bad the reaction is from Sky. He seems to be so angry and he is even purposely making Pai angry right now it's not good. Do you even know why he is so mad? I kind of get it, but it seems like it will end badly and in a worse fight than this. Though maybe they are like Hia Saifah and P'Chai, they just show their love in other ways. I just don't want our best friends to be hurt by this." He pouts at the end and worries his lip in his mouth.
I shake my head, "It's okay Baby they will be fine, all couples fight they just will need time to figure out themselves. As I said before they are very much in love so even if this fight will maybe last longer than it should they will be fine in the end.” He smiles and then I remember what he said, “Wait, what did you say after you worried that this fight will get worse for them?”
He looks confused and responds, “I don’t want our best friends to be hurt by this?”
I shake my head, “No, before that.”
He seems to think hard and then it looks like something clicks, “Oh, you mean about Hia Saifah and P’Chai?”
I nod my head, “You make it sound like they are together or something?”
"They are!" He exclaims and then studies my face probably reading the confusion and surprise there. He shakes his head and sighs and asks, "You didn't know?" Though it sounds more like a statement than a question. I shake my head and he continues, "They have been for a while, everyone knows. Well, the people who know both of them know. Wait, you didn't know? How did you become the oblivious one?"
I shrug my shoulders, "Why didn't anyone tell me?"
"Probably the same reason as me, we all thought you knew. It wasn't talked about because they weren't as public as you and Pai about their relationship and people are scared of you, Saifah, Pai, and Chai so who would gossip about it? They barely gossiped about Pai and Sky or you and me because they are afraid of the consequences if they said something wrong. I mean, Sky and I love you two for you and Pai's intimidating dangerous auras, but Sky and I are different from everyone else. Most people are scared of you all reacting badly, but Sky and I know you four are big softies." I smile and peck him on the lips because I feel he won't stop talking otherwise.
When we part he pouts at me and then cuddles into my chest slightly. I shake my head at my silly boyfriend and then finally say, "Okay, okay, I got it. Well, I hope they are happy though now I want to go talk to them." I was going to say more, but we get interrupted by a loud yell.
We both turn our attention to where the yell was and see Pai walking towards us with hurt and anger on his face. Then I turn to look behind and see Sky starting to run after him, with a guilty look. I sigh, this is going to be a long night because I know for a fact that one of our best friends will be staying with us tonight.
