Sonia yawned, whining softly from being wakened from the realm of slumber and dreams. She looked at her cellphone, which was charging next to her, opening it so she could look at the time, it was only 2 in the morning. She then stood up from her shared bunk bed, being careful not to wake up her snoring roommate, the Ultimate Musician, who was sleeping rather peacefully for the most part.
Ah yes, Sonia almost forgot about their sleepover. Sonia had invited her whole class to a sleepover at Novoselic once they had graduated, and they all accepted the offer with high spirits.
Since Sonia is the daughter of the king and would be the soon-to-be queen of said kingdom, nobody batted an eye when she had suddenly asked to commission a large, beautiful mansion just for her classmates to stay in for the sleepover.
Some of her classmates believed Sonia was an angel in disguise of the Ultimate Princess for that gesture. Nobody else would've done that for them in a heartbeat.
They agreed to spend a few days in her kingdom to see what Novoselic had to offer, and to properly spend time with each other before they end up going separate ways and soon end up drifting apart. Although, all of them wouldn't wish for that to happen.
Save for Kazuichi's suffering during the travel to her kingdom due to his unfortunate curse of having motion sickness, everything went surprisingly smoothly despite a few bumps here and there.
Anyways, back to our story.
Sonia felt rather thirsty at the moment, which she guessed is the reason why she woke up during such an ungodly hour of the night.
Sonia exited the bedroom, closing the bedroom door slowly and proceeded until the door was fully shut. She kept walking slowly and gently as to not wake her other classmates that were in their rooms because of her footsteps and managed to make it downstairs.
Sonia had finished her task and went over to the kitchen, where the working refrigerator was, and so were stacks of fresh water bottles she ordered to have inside, along with food, of course.
She opened the refrigerator and hastily grabbed a bottle of water, it was expectedly cold as she opened the lid to drink from it. Though, as she drank from it, she looked around and saw a glimpse of a familiar color of hot pink from the corner of her eye.
She immediately noticed it was Kazuichi as she put down her water bottle, she also realized that Kazuichi was just as surprised as she was due to his expression. Kazuichi was like a deer in headlights as he stood there beside the counter.
"O-Oh, Kazuichi-!" Sonia spoke, still startled from the encounter, yet still sleepy. She scanned Kazuichi's form and the first thing she noticed was his awkward smile, along with his messy hair and mysteriously flushed red cheeks.
She also noticed he wasn't wearing his mecha-themed pajamas he bought with him, and instead an oversized shirt that she swore belonged to Gundham.
Since the shirt covered his torso until a good bit of his legs, she couldn't see if he was wearing underwear under that, but she better hoped he was or else this would be awkward fast.
And wait, were those bite marks on his shoulders and collarbone-
"O-Oh, Miss Sonia!" Kazuichi muttered nervously, Sonia swore she heard his voice crack slightly as he wore a nervous grin on his face, his sharp, shark-like teeth on full display. "W-What are you d-doing up this early?"
"Well, I wanted to drink some water since I was thirsty after being unfairly woke up from my slumber." Sonia explained her situation, with the mechanic nodding along as if understanding her situation, his grin downgraded to a small smile.
"How about you?" Sonia suddenly asked, Kazuichi clearly hadn't anticipated that question.
"O-Oh, me? Uhh, I just wanted to get some... Err... soda! Yeah, I was suuuuper thirsty like you were after I had interco- I m-mean worked on a mechanism the whole night-!" Kazuichi rambled on about his origins for coming here, but Sonia couldn't care less at the moment as she still wanted to get some sleep.
"Ah, I see then. Well, I hope you are hydrated as well. Please get some rest, Kazuichi." Sonia yawned as she placed the bottle back where she found it. Kazuichi gave her a firm nod, and the princess waved goodbye as she headed back to her room with Ibuki.
She wanted to ask about why he was wearing Gundham's shirt, but she thought nothing of it, just as she also quickly forgot about the marks she saw on Kazuichi's body once she had fallen back into her realm of slumber.
Once the princess had left, Kazuichi sighed in relief and helped Gundham pull himself up as he had hid behind the counter while Kazuichi conversed with the princess.
"God damn it, that was way too close!" Kazuichi groaned as he sat back on the counter, while the breeder was shirtless since the mechanic had been wearing his shirt once they heard the ungodly timing of her footsteps.
"I agree, my paramour. However, I am just as relieved as you are that the She-Cat did not question your alibi as to why you were up at this hour." Gundham replied, resting his hand on Kazuichi's leg.
To put some backstory on their situation, Gundham and Kazuichi both went down to the kitchen for drinks originally, as both of them were indeed thirsty, so Kazuichi only told half of the truth to Sonia earlier.
Since Kazuichi thought it was a good idea to tease the breeder, he had suggested to the latter to take him right here and now, as nobody would be awake to witness it, which would be a fair statement as it was an ungodly hour for all of them.
While Gundham and Kazuichi were in an open relationship, it would not have been weird for their classmates to see them together, however the couple both knew they wouldn't want to see them both getting it on somewhere and ruining the mood, so they often hid and did the deed whenever they had the chance.
It didn't matter now though, but they both wanted to finish it now, lest they attract more of their classmates and they would interrupt them again.
"L-Let's just finish what we started, okay? I can't take it anymore." Kazuichi muttered to Gundham, pulling him closer.
Gundham gained his confidence right back at the suggestion, lewdly grinning as he held Kazuichi by the hips.
"Of course, my consort. Anything for you." Gundham replied before pulling him in for a kiss.
The next morning, The class went out to the beach outside of the kingdom, opting for a great time outside.
Akane and Nekomaru brought their sports gear with them, bringing out the volleyball net so they could play while they were out.
While the rest of the class set up the net and the other half went to do other stuff, Chiaki and Sonia, along with Kazuichi and Gundham, were sitting on the sand with umbrellas to cover themselves from the irritatingly bright sunlight. Both of them had a good distance from eachother, though.
However the four of them were speaking separately with eachother, all was going well until Chiaki brought up another topic.
"Oh, Sonia! Did you hear those noises last night too, or was it just me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, when I was in the bathroom late at night, I heard noises that sounded like groaning and moaning. I think it came from downstairs?"
"Moaning and groaning? From downstairs? I was downstairs and I didn't hear it, I did however find Kazuichi in the kitchen and he had Gundham's shirt on instead of his pajamas from earlier." Sonia muttered, thinking to herself as she told Chiaki.
Chiaki then butted in. "Just his shirt?"
"I think so..? But not only that, I also noticed bite marks on his neck and shoulders! I didn't react appropriately since I was tired. I only wondered what could've happened."
Sonia was so close to solving the puzzle. Then the gamer butted in again with one last hint, all the while focusing on her game.
"Also, speaking of Kazuichi.. did you notice Kazuichi was walking weird today? Like he was limping?" Chiaki told her. "and both Gundham and Kazuichi are still wearing their usual clothes despite being at the beach."
Sonia's eyes widened in realization.
The suspicious moans and groans last night.
The hickeys and bitemarks on Kazuichi's neck.
The shirt that belonged to Gundham Tanaka.
The mechanic's suspicious behavior AND his lack of walking abilities.
The fact that Kazuichi wasn't in his room at all.
Though Sonia was naive, she wasn't as innocent as the class thought she was.
Sonia put all the pieces together in her head, eyes widening in disbelief at the conclusion.
Did the Ultimate Breeder and Ultimate Mechanic just fuck last night? Gundham Tanaka and Kazuichi Souda fucked last night? It shouldn't be surprising to her since they were a couple, but did they really?
"AHHH!" Sonia screeched, which worried Chiaki as she paused her game.
"Sonia? What's wrong?" Chiaki asked calmly despite her friend not being as calm.
From the distance, the two ultimates the two were talking about heard their conversation and only looked away awkwardly, both of them blushing from supposed embarrassment.
They were gonna have to apologize to the poor princess later.
