Summary
Mystic Heart Odyssey is an adventure romance story set in a more primitive/tribal/ancient fantasy setting. Lykou is a konuul from a somewhat isolated tribe, who has always dreamed of exploring the world outside their little valley and going on grand adventures. Kuna is a sereva with a deeply troubled past who constantly battles fear and self-doubt, and is slow to trust others.
In this first part of MHO, Strangers in a Strange Land, the two wind up meeting when they take shelter together in a small cave during a freak storm that comes out of nowhere. When they wake up, they find that they have been magically transported to a far away land. Together they begin traveling the world and going on various adventures as they try to make their way home. Initially they are strangers, and Kuna's personal demons make getting along difficult- but their adventures soon draw them closer together and forge a special friendship to stand against the harrowing trials of an exotic journey through unknown lands.
