   Summary

   "It's not working," Izuku heard him say, immediately feeling the nausea rise from his stomach to his eyes, forming a horrible knot in his throat and an intense fear taking hold of his body.

   "What's not working?" he managed to reply, feeling the familiar and persistent tingling of anxiety.

   "You and me, we're too different. We've tried everything to make it work, but it doesn't." He said before hiding his hands in his pockets, taking a deep breath. Izuku cried out of pain, agony, and longing. He didn't want this. He didn't want it to be like this. "I don't want to be with you anymore. It's over."
