He laid there feeling so weak and he had no idea on what to do next. Everything felt so dizzy and confusing. The akuma had hit him harder than thought it would.and now he felt like he was having an out of body experience.
Even as Ladybug grabbed him and ran off from the battle he didn’t properly react. Everything felt like he was swimming through the air or like he was on some kind of trippy drug trip. Eventually she sets him down somewhere in an alley. Concerned clear in her features as she gently cups my face.
In an instant it felt like I had slammed back into my body, the world seemed more clearer and more focused. Her gloves against the skin on my face made everything so much better than before.
“Hey you with me?” Ladybug was so close I could feel her breath on my lips.
“It feels better with you here.” I replied drowsily. In turn she gave me a look when she was losing patience with my flirting and she looked as if she was going to remove her hands from me. In a bit of panic at the thought of going back to that hazy nightmare, my hands came and kept them on my face. “It makes me feel more focused, your touch helps me.” I manage to huff out.
She looked a bit hesitant but eventually her features returned to being warm and caring. “Okay, okay. I’m here kitty, I’m here.” Her gentle touch is just a little bit more firm.
We stayed there for a few more minutes while I regained my awareness, our foreheads rested against each other while we sat in companionable silence. I slowly removed myself and we stood up once again ready to defeat the akuma as a team.
