   Summary

   It’s 1712, the height is of the gemstone era. Many royal families rule the different lands named after their respective gemstones. A gift given to those of the land? Magic correlating to their gemstones.

   But two lands in particular are at odds. The Pearl lands of the north and the Emerald lands of the south. The Emerald Empress is concerned for the well being of herself and her only daughter Isabella. Therefore, Isabella gets sent as a child to the Pearl lands as an act of diplomacy to grow up alongside the Pearl princes.

   For ten years Isabella lives in the Pearl castle surrounded by annoying princes and a creepy emperor. Her magic flourishes and she even befriends the princes. Isabella grows up, falls in love, and on the eve of her 18th birthday? She gets betrayed.
