Barefoot.
Is not common here to walk barefoot.
Everyone thinks that is something bad.
But the carpets are very comfortable.
I wake up every night since the war. It's over, but I can't sleep well.
So I walk.
I asked the maids if they could leave the curtains open, so I could see the stars.
The walks at night always helps me to go back to sleep. I love sleeping, but when a nightmare wakes me, I need to walk. Maybe walking tires me.
I know they follow me.
Choi Han, Ron, and the kids.
I don't like that the kids follow me at night, they need to sleep. But I can't tell them that I know.
I feel better when I know that they are following me.
Is tiring. But it makes me comfortable.
The rugs on the floor have improved. Maybe Ron said something, and they changed them.
When I was a child, I only walked on rocks, the ground… the street. The carpets are the best.
I need to go back to sleep, I am thinking about the past again, I don't need that now.
I'm Cale Henituse, and... I have money, I have... family.
The kids need to go back to sleep, they don't need to follow me more for now.
Choi Han needs to go back to sleep, he needs to practice in the morning, he always does that.
And Ron needs to go back to sleep, he doesn't need to worry about me more, maybe he would serve me a glass of milk, saying that is for the kids, and an extra for me. Milk always helps me to sleep again.
Walking barefoot in this place is… better than in my old apartment, or in the old house.
