"Tim," Dick leaned against the doorframe, balancing his bounty of snacks, "I've seen a lot of thieves in Gotham. You are not one of them. Besides, you're kind of like our neighbor. Considering this us being neighborly. Now," he shifted some of the junk food before there was a small avalanche, "come help me carry this and maybe we can get out there before Jason turns this whole floor into a fort."
OR,
The boys find an intruder in Wayne Manor in the middle of the night and take it upon themselves to confront the "criminal". Of course that would end in a sleepover.

“I… I could be Robin,” Tim suggested softly, almost not daring to say it, even when nobody alive could hear. “No one could ever replace you, but without Robin, I’m afraid of what Batman could become.”
He knew he would never measure up to Jason Todd or Dick Grayson. But anything was better than nothing, right? He was anything. Even if he was just a candle compared to the bonfires that were Dick and Jason, he could be that light to Batman's darkness. The light Batman so deeply needed.
He owed it to Robin, to Batman, to Gotham—to try.
There was that thumping again, and Tim reminded himself once more that it was probably just the rain, or something reasonable, and not the waking dead.
Too much AMC and George Romero, Tim. Pull yourself together.

“Listen, Jason,” Tim says frankly down the line, and Jason tenses at the use of his real name. That doesn’t happen. Not casually, at least. “I’m pretty sure I’m going to die, so I need you to stay on the line with me.”
Jason short-circuits for a beat, and then runs the words back. “What?”
Tim takes a deep breath, and it’s steady. “I’m going to die,” he repeats, “and I don’t want to be alone, so please stay on the line.”

And when Jason pushed aside his obsession with Bruce, the answer was so clear. He knew exactly what he wanted. He knew what he’d always wanted, ever since he was that little street rat who spent money he needed for food on making himself look clean. Because he’d needed to look clean and presentable to get into the public libraries. Because they wouldn’t have let a dirty homeless kid touch the books.
“I want to go to college.”
And Talia had made that happen for him.
(AU where, at the end of his League of Assassins training, Jason decides to go to Metropolis for college instead of going back to Gotham for revenge. Things spiral from there. The title is so sarcastic by the way. There’s nothing regular about Jason Todd.)
