Hidden in Plain Sight | Jessica Pearson

Summary:

Request: Can you do Jessica Pearson x female reader where Jessica and her have been dating for a long time and adorably in love, so Harvey knows her too and they are low key best friends??

Work Text:

Harvey subtly watched Jessica in her office through the glass walls. He needed to get 'permission' to make a not so kosher move against Hardman, and by permission he meant just telling her so that Jessica could do what she did best and cover their asses when it all could go wrong.

He had only just managed to stop himself barging in when he saw (y/n) (l/n) sitting in the chair across from Jessica's desk. It wasn't often that she had enough time in her schedule to actually come down to the firm to see Jessica; he wished that he could've let them talk for longer, Jessica deserved to have a break every once and a while in her busy days, but needs must.

Swiftly, Harvey moved into the office, greeting Jessica with a nod before turning to (y/n). "Well what do we owe the pleasure of your company then ms. (l/n)?"

"Harvey, I do believe that she is here to see me, and not you."

"I don't know Jessica," she interrupted, standing to give Harvey a brief hug, "can i not be here to see two of my favourite people."

Jessica softly glared a (y/n) for a moment, but there was no form of malice in her eyes. She had been with her long enough to have a firm grasp on all aspects of her partner's sense of humour.

(Y/n) continued"But looking at Harvey's face, it seems important, and I have a patient at the hospital waiting on a consult so I better be off. I'll see you at home, yeah?"

"Of course." It was then Jessica's turn to move to her partner, guiding them to her office door before sending them off with a small kiss to the cheek and a squeeze of her hand. Once (y/n) had moved down the corridor enough that she was out of view, Jessica turned back to Harvey. "What problem do you need help with first?"

Harvey faked a gasp.

"What makes you think I have a problem? And shouldn't we focus on that (y/n) called me her favourite?"

"One of her favourites, Harvey. Don't get cocky now."
