Day 4 - Model
“You ready for your photoshoot, Mizuki?” Ena asked as she ran a brush through their hair.
“Yep, I’m ready as ever!” …That was a lie. Mizuki had done this many times before but that didn’t stop the nerves whatsoever. They were always worried about one thing or the other, whether it be getting a pose wrong or some other thing.
“You don’t sound so sure.”
“I promise, I’m ready, Ena!”
“It’s okay if you aren.’t Is something wrong?” Ena’s voice softened.
“Ugh… When the hell did I become a bad liar?”
“Haha, I think I just know you too well. So what’s up?”
“Eh, well this isn’t really a one time worry. I always think this before photoshoots, and other things like that. Y’know? I’m always worried about being perceived or messin’ up.”
“You’re perfect, Mizuki. As if you’ll mess up. And if anyone badmouths you, I will kick their asses.”
“That’s not what you should be doing as my manager, Enanan…” Ena shrugged.
“I mean… no one has to find out, right?”
“Someone definitely will!” Mizuki looked up at Ena, leaning back in their chair and sticking their tongue out.
“Hey, I’m not done brushing your hair!”
“Sorry, Ms. Manager~!”
“Why do I even put up with you…??”
“Because I’m cute and amazing, that’s why~!”
“You’re also annoying!”
“Don’t lie, Ena~ You looove it when I tease you~!”
“Why would anyone love that!?” Ena groaned, facepalming. Mizuki smirked, giggling a bit.
"Well, you do~!"
"I do not! Shut up!" Ena tied a ribbon in Mizuki's hair, in their signature side ponytail. "Anyways, I'm done. You look great."
"Well, duh! I'm soooo cute right now and always!"
"Keep telling yourself that."
"I will because it's true!"
"Just shut up… Anyways, here." Ena hands Mizuki a mirror, they grin.
"I toldja! I'm super cute~!"
"Whatever." Mizuki stood up from their chair, turning to face Ena.
"Thanks!" Mizuki smiled at her. "Still pretty nervous though."
"You'll do great, kay?"
"Right. I will! Thanks again!"
"Yeah, of course. Now get out there before people ask where you are."
"Yes ma'am!" Mizuki gave Ena a mock salute and headed out the door
