    Summary

Prophecies are like weather forecasts—in a less–commonly–occuring way, they either turn out to be wrong and get blamed on variables or they turn out to be right and you get people with a flawed sense of confidence bragging about predicting the future.

Some of them, at least, because most oracles are dead by the time they do turn out to be right.

So what do you deduce would happen if two equal and opposite prophecies tell completely different forecasts for the future? There is a 100/100 chance you'd be dead wrong.
