Work Text:

Sunghoon flopped on top of the bed. It wasn't his bed, it was Heeseung's. For some reason, his boyfriend's bed was ten times more comfortable than his own.

He streched out, sore after hours upon hours of dance practice. He winced when he felt his stomach rumble. He had barely eaten his breakfast because of the hurry and had had no time for lunch because of practice.

Luckily, Heeseung and Jake went out to the convenience store near to the dorms.

Unfortunately, that meant no post-practice cuddles. Well, until Heeseung would return.

Sunghoon turned around in the bed, covering himself with the sheets. He had changed to his pyjama already, because he knew he'd go straight to bed after dinner. Not his own, though, no, once again his boyfriend's.

He woke up from uproar coming from the kitchen. He hadn't even realized he'd fallen asleep in the first place. Well, he supposed, that's what being an idol does to you. Always taking the chance to take a nap, never knowing when you'd rest again.

"Hoon-ah?" A soft voice called out. A head peaked into the room who's door was just opened. Sunghoon would recognize that voice anywhere, and obviously the head that belonged to the owner too. Heeseung smiled as Sunghoon got out of bed and rubbed his eyes. "Did you sleep?"

Sunghoon nodded drowsy. "Yup."

Heeseung smiled again, taking his boyfriend's hands into his own. "We're gonna eat, are you coming?"

Another loud rumble from his stomach answered before Sunghoon could himself.

"I suppose that's a yes?"

Sunghoon nodded again. He felt Heeseung poke his cheek.

"You're so cute when you're sleepy." His boyfriend cooed.

Sunghoon fought off a blush. The most simple things Heeseung did would dust his cheeks and ears pink.

Heeseung pulled him towards the kitchen area, still holding one of Sunghoon's hands. When he opened the door, the smell of warm food greeted Sunghoon. As well as five pairs of eyes, belonging to his members.

"So Sunghoon-hyung was indeed in your room?" Stated Sunoo, smirk evident on his face. "We should just make it official and move all of Sunghoon-hyung's stuff to Heeseung-hyung's room."

"I didn't like sharing a room with you, anyway." Sunghoon rolled his eyes. Sunoo stuck his tongue out.

Sunghoon saw Jungwon looking, and so did Sunoo, who quickly made a more pleasant face.

"Why not?" Jungwon finally suggested when Heeseung and Sunghoon had sat down and started eating. "Would you be against sleeping in the same room?"

Sunghoon looked at Heeseung, waiting for an answer from him first. It was his room, after all. Heeseung thought for a second before answering. "I mean, I think it'd be easier. And if it doesn't work, for whatever reason, we could always switch it back."

"Damn, Sunghoon." Jay nudged him. "He's so in love with you he's even giving up his no-roomie situation."

Sunghoon ignored it to comment to agree with Heeseung, saying they'd try it.

Jay spoke up again, different approach this time. "If I hear one noise... I'm disowning both of you." That brought a blush to both Sunghoon and Heeseung.

"W– we didn't... haven't..." The latter stuttered out. Jungwon reached over the table to hit Jay lightly in the shoulder.

Jake looked up from where he was eating. "Be safe, though." That earned him a slap from the leader as well.

Heeseung was staring at his food, avoiding eye contact. Sunghoon was staring at Heeseung, also refusing to lock gazes with anyone – with his boyfriend as exception, of course.

Dinner felt like it was taking forever after that, with Heeseung and Sunghoon awkwardly eating their food and the rest giggling over something (save for Jungwon –he shushed them everytime– and Riki who was trying to convince the former to have a 'maknae-line sleepover' Jungwon caved when he used his puppy eyes.)

Sunghoon was ready to sleep for an eternity when dinner time finally ended. After cleaning up the table (he called it cleaning up; Jake called it 'one swipe to pretend you're helping'. Believe whoever. It's not like Jake himself always stayed behind to clean up.) he went straight to Heeseung's –and his– bedroom to return to the spot on his boyfriend's bed, where he had previously napped.

Heeseung had gone to wash up. When the door opened again, the older had changed into nightwear and his hear was still damp from the shower he had taken just then, as he hadn't had any time to do so immediately after practice, because of food-duty.

Sunghoon felt Heeseung settle next to him.

"Ready to sleep?" Sunghoon turned towards his boyfriend as said person wrapped his arms around him.

"Yeah." He could reply before yawning. Sunghoon laid his head down on the other's chest.

He was able to hear Heeseung's heart beat. It was comforting.

"Wait, Sunghoon?" Heeseung sounded serious.

"Yes?"

"Did– did the comments at dinner bother you?" Heeseung started. "Because I can tell th–" He was cut of by a chaste kiss of Sunghoon.

"They didn't bother me. Did they bother you, though?"

"No, not really." Heeseung smiled slightly. "It's just... awkward, I guess?"

Sunghoon nodded before placing his head back on Heeseung's chest. "It is."

"Do... you want to... y'know...?" Sunghoon's eyes widened at the mention. Did he want to? He did, because he trusted Heeseung fully. He always had.

"I would want to if– if you wanted to as well."

"I want to..." Heeseung trailed off, probably looking for a way to put it. Sunghoon had to admit he struggled with getting those words out of his mouth. He knew they were not taboos entirely, and yet, it made him shy. Especially with the thought of Heeseung... and him...

Sunghoon was blushing again.

"Eventually?" He asked.

"Eventually." Heeseung confirmed.

"I don't think I could do it when the members are at home without melting into a puddle of shame." It was meant as a joke to lighten the situation, but it was truly how Sunghoon felt about it.

Heeseung laughed softly, the sound vibrating through his chest. "Me too. These walls aren't too thick."

Sunghoon suddenly felt a little bold. "For the record, we are talking about sex, right?"

He felt Heeseung freeze slightly before light vibrations came from his chest. "No, obviously I meant the rooming thing."

Sunghoon snorted. "Oops, my mistake."

He yawned again.

"Go to sleep, Sunghoon." Heeseung's hand stroked his hair.

"Not without my goodnight kiss, I am not." Sunghoon supported his weight on his elbow to lift up his face.

Heeseung was smiling. "Come here then, love."

If that nickname made Sunghoon blush heavily, Heeseung did not mention it. He just kissed him, breathlessy even, too long to be considered just a 'good night kiss'. Sunghoon didn't complain.

They finally parted when Sunghoon had to yawn once again.

"Good night, Sunghoon-ah." Heeseung said as Sunghoon layed down on his chest again.

"Good night, hyung."

Sunghoon drifted away, feeling safest in Heeseung's protecting arms.

The latter was still awake, studying every centimeter of his boyfriend's face. More specifically, his moles.

Heeseung was obsessed with them, as was the rest of the world. They were just so... hypnotizing. So Sunghoon.

The one between his nosebridge and his eye was probably the most known one. The one to never be covered by makeup, as it was one of the many charming points of Sunghoon. Heeseung could confirm. The first time they had ever met, still trainees at that time, was proof of that. The first thing he had noticed about the younger was that mole on his face.

The next was also one on his nose, same side as the first one. It was a small one. Heeseung had first noticed it on I-Land, when Sunghoon had initiated a hug. As their faces had come closer, Heeseung had found himself trying to take in as much of the younger's features as he could.

There was another one, on his cheek, under his eye. It was the only one on the right side of his face. Heeseung remembered a period of time where he was so scared of what his feelings for Sunghoon could mean that he rarely looked him into the eye. Instead, he'd look at that mole. It had not helped his feelings. It had made them worse, he had fallen so deep that he doubted he could ever get up again.

The last mole on his face was on the left side. It was south-east of the corner of his mouth. Heeseung loved kissing Sunghoon's lips, of course, but that mole his favorite to place a short kiss before returning to his boyfriend's lips.

Heeseung leaned down to do exactly that, placing a feather light kiss on that mole.

Sleep was tugging at him. His eyes were struggling to stay. So, he let the sleep take over. The last thing he saw was Sunghoon's face up close before falling into a peaceful slumber.

When Heeseung woke up again, his arms were empty. Confused, he checked the time on his phone.

2:27 A.M.

"Sunghoon-ah?" He said groggily.

"I'm here, hyung."

Sunghoon had woken up roughly half an hour ago. He couldn't fall back asleep and not wanting to bother Heeseung, he had gotten out of bed to sit by his desk instead.

He had been mindlessly scrolling, waiting for the sleepiness to return. Of course, he knew that looking at a screen wouldn't help. Not that he really cared.

Heeseung apperantly did. "Hoon-ah, come back to bed. You need to sleep."

"But I can't fall asleep." Sunghoon pouted.

"I have an idea." He patted on the space next to him on bed. "Lay down."

Sunghoon put down his phone before walking over to and settling down on the older's bed. Heeseung's arms circled around him once again.

"Close your eyes, love." Sunghoon was too tired to process the nickname. If he had been more conscious, he probably would've blushed again. As it was then, he just obeyed and closed his eyes, letting out a sigh.

Heeseung was saying something again.

No, he was singing.

And even in his tired state, Sunghoon recognized the song immediately after his initial realization that Heeseung was singing to him. He was singing 'Off My Face'. Softly, gentle.

Sunghoon felt the sleep return to him as Heeseung continued to sing. His voice let him to the gates of Dream Land, guided him towards peaceful sleep. Sunghoon just followed.

He felt a kiss being placed on his hair and heard a murmured "Sweet dreams, love" before he stepped foot into the awaited Dream Land.
