Summary
Spencer Reid felt like an idiot. Someone like Aaron Hotchner wouldn't fall in love with him. The thought alone was ridiculous- but yet, for the last few months, it had felt like Aaron had been flirting with him and Spencer’s stupid, vulnerable heart had latched onto it like a leech; sucking every part of affection and attention up like a sponge, always wanting more. His hope had been shattered when Aaron introduced his new girlfriend Beth Clemmons to the group.
To Aaron she seems like the perfect partner and an easy distraction from the one he actually wants.
The rest of the team had all been convinced that Aaron had been flirting with Spencer. Morgan sets his mind on finding out whether or not Aaron was just stringing him along.
