In this world, there are some people that have an elemental ability that they gain genetically, learn and practice or are blessed later on in their lives. There are 7 elemental abilities total that people recognize but actually there are 6. The 6 elemental abilities that people can get are:
- Fire
- Ice
- Lightning
- Wind
- Quantum
- Imaginary
The 7th elemental ability, Physical , is not actually elemental but is a strength enhancer for the person. This one is mainly popular since for this one, anyone can get just by training their body more and be ready when they need to use their weapon or their fists. Originally people needed to have an elemental ability to be qualified as a superhero but that was later changed and Physical was implemented as an elemental ability.
Along the elemental ability that the person has they are given a choice to choose a path that they want to go for. There are 7 paths that they can choose from the 7 out of the 18 Aeons that are represented by them. People recognize and know more of the 7 Aeon paths then the rest due to the other Aeons either being deceased or that their Aeon path is not common in this world. The seven paths are:
- Destruction Path associated with the Nanook Aeon
- Hunt Path associated with the Lan Aeon
- Erudition Path associated with the Npus Aeon
- Harmony Path associated with the Xipe Aeon
- Nihility Path associated with the IX Aeon
- Preservation Path associated with the Qlipoth Aeon
- Abundance Path associated with the Yaoshi Aeon
The path that they choose with their elemental ability is up to them as long as it doesn't involve harm to civilians. Many people will all end up choosing a path that they believe is right for them to move forward and defeat villains to save the world.
There are specialized schools that are open for people to be accepted to become a superhero in any way that they can. The whole goal for these high schools is to give them preparations with extra lessons so that they can be aware and ready to choose a path category that they want to be. The other goal is to have a new generation of superheroes that are skilled enough to be able to defeat villains in order to keep peace in the world.
An alternative route could be that they can go to a regular college after high school in order to choose a regular career if they change their mind. This route will make them able to graduate 2 years earlier than a regular student. Even if a person ends up deciding against being a superhero later on, they would be able to be a hero in their city.
There has been a lot of hope going around their world, especially Star Rail City. The people there have been a lot hopeful with decreases in villain activities happening in their city. As there are people that are hopeful for a better future, there are others that are afraid for the future. Since they believe that one day, unexpectedly, a major villain might attack the city by surprise. But in the end the hopeful and fearful people both know that nothing lasts forever….
