Work Text:

“You talk in your sleep”

Tweek always was unpredictable- always blurting unhinged sentences that could catch anyone off guard.  The only person who never seemed to never be surprised or shocked by what comes out of his mouth was Craig. He already heard so many absurd things Tweek would say.

While Craig was the opposite, anyone who knew Craig for at least an hour won't have a hard time trying to understand his simple and specific personality. Expecting his honest and straightforward responses and the classic middle finger whenever someone offends him.

Craig however did not expect that statement from Tweek.

“What?” The latter responded, Craig felt his eyebrow raise while his other one furrowed into his face, giving Tweek a look of confusion. They normally had sleepovers since they were kids but soon during high school it led to every Friday they would have one. Being seniors now they kept the same routine. Sometimes sleepover for multiple days of the weekend.

Tweek just hummed alerting Craig to proceed with an explanation for his confusion, giving Craig such a unique look with his ocean green eyes staring into his. Images of his eyes throughout the years remained similar, sleepy with a alarmed look in the green orbs.

Still, Craig was just confused about why Tweek would tell him something relevant only now, regardless of whether it was true or not.

“Since when? Like did I do it last night or-?”

“No, you sleep talk really often actually.” Tweek proclaimed making sure to exaggerate the word “really”, as he laid on his side facing Craig, using his hands to support his head against the pillow.

The pillow next to him was quickly used to hit him from his shocked boyfriend next to him. “I do not.” Craig proclaimed, though he had no evidence to prove himself right. It's not like Tweek could prove what he was saying either.

gah! - Craig seriously!” Tweek quickly moved from his relaxed position to grab the pillow suffocating him. Craig quickly noticed the hostile glare that engulfed the blonde's face. Well, shit-

He was soon hit much harder than when he hit Tweek. “Dude.” he muffled out while his face was being shoved against the pillow. Only for Tweek to then throw it against his stomach letting it fall to Craig's lap. Craig couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle before grabbing his pillow from his lap and banging it against Tweeks side. Before either one of them knew it, their quiet romantic morning led to an aggressive pillow fight with both their pillows.

It was no surprise that Tweek finally was the last one standing until Craig gave up and laid back down. 10 years of boxing did give him good stamina and strategy Craig presumed.

After Tweek was done gloating about how he won, Tweek caught his breath and laid back to his former position facing Craig on his side.

“You do though” Tweek hesitated and quickly fixed his attempt at restarting that conversation. “Nothing bad! Just mumbles”

“Whatever you say, babe.” Craig had to hold himself back from doing a large eye roll to his boyfriend. Only suddenly felt his sense of fatigue take over his eyelids, not even having the energy to go through with the eye roll.

Of course, his boyfriend saw right through him despite Craig's attempt at acting. He might have even shown a look of annoyance on his face somehow, because before he knew it another pillow was swung against the tan boy's face.

And another.

And another…

“B-babe” Craig breathed out while getting essentially abused with the pillow. Craig despite using his hands to attempt to cover his face from the hurried pillow. Proving himself wrong when he initially thought this would shut down his boyfriend's attempt of giving him a concussion with a pillow. Astonishing to believe, but Tweek could make it happen with the right motive.

Before the next swing came towards his face again, Craig got his plan to stop Tweek’s throws. Craig then clutched the pillow by the sides and pushed it to the side so he could see Tweek’s realization that Craig grabbed his ‘weapon’.

The realization on Tweek’s face was almost priceless. His green eyes became wider than they naturally are with his thick brows rising with them, not a rare sight to see him so surprised but humorous in the context.

Craig had to bite down his laugh and smirk as he shoved the pillow right in his boyfriend's face, faring with Tweek’s earlier movement.

“Ok ok!” Tweak yelled out from behind the pillow. Unlike Tweek continuously hitting Craig, Craig just shoved it against the blond's face.

Craig didn’t want to make his boyfriend more enraged than he already was, knowing the rage behind the pillow was unfolding. He brings back the pillow, now in its correct spot at the bed frame as Craig sat on his knees waiting for Tweek’s comeback. While Tweek still laid flat motionless.

Tweek breathes out his nose, simultaneously rolling his eyes with the motion. When Tweek gets mad like this Craig can't help but feel like maybe he's just a cat, growling and hissing at their owners just for brushing the feline's stomach. It's just that easy to get Tweek all riled up like a cat.

“Fine you win” he declared after he started to sit up ( he also muttered a bitch in there thinking Craig couldn’t hear him). Once he finally propped himself up on his elbows, Craig notices how the innocent from his eyes is staring at him. The previous look filled with mood and irritation now filled with a delicate soft reminder of something they both feel but rarely say.

As the blue met green it seemed to be said.

They both leaned in and their lips brushed against each other, in a peaceful and chaste action.Letting their lips move against each other swiftly, feeling each other smile behind the pure kiss. Allowing themselves to express the delicate feelings they have for each other despite the amount of cat squabbles and pillow fights they have.

They still love each other.

They broke away from the kiss, Tweek did first at least. What Craig was expecting more and more pecks afterward across his temples as usual, surprisingly he was soon greeted with his nose being flicked.

Craig quickly covered his nose to put pressure on the pain. “Dude what was that for!?” He asked, more in a yelling form but muffled behind the pain.

“You didn’t believe me when I said you sleep talk” Tweek started, looking slightly guilty for hitting Craig, still crossing his arms in annoyance. The amount of patience Craig has learned to do for Tweek over the years is wild. Tweek suddenly  spoke up again “wait till I tell you about the snoring”

Pillows were flying again as the laughter soon filled the room. Of course, followed again with more little pecks against both their lips.
