Summary
Usually things between them were silky smooth, easy. Despite playful (and at times not so playful) tiffs the three fit together like perfect jigsaw pieces, each a little jagged and misshapen but when you put them all together their coexistence painted a picture of peace. Meryl and Nicholas knew their places as the supporting roles in the hectic typhoon that embodied Vash’s life, the man had straight up bad luck on the best of days, downright tragic spirals on the worst. If their relationship was a three piece puzzle he was the middle that pulled Meryl and Nicholas to either side into an embrace of protection. Not that Nicholas didn’t have his share of bad days too.
It wasn’t always easy, dating two men with hurt pasts laced with unspeakable abuse that reared their ugly heads in the forms of their own unique PTSD.
