Leafpool sat next to her window looking over the lake to the riverclan town mothwing is in there somewhere..wish I could be there she sighed.downstairs she could hear her mother sandstorm and her father firestar talking
"Hey Leafpool! Congrats on passing your driving test" she heard squirrelflight's voice squeak.she turned around to see her sister she had long frizzy ginger hair and tanned skin except for one hand with a lighter skin tone.she was wearing a long sleeve shirt and dungarees.
“Hi squilf you ok?” leafpool climbed down from the windowsill and ruffled her sister’s hair
“Yep I’m going to brightheart’s cafe with my friends soon…but i can probably guess what you’re gonna be doing tonight…you’re gonna go on a drive with your riverclan girlfriend~” squirrelflight nudged her sister and smiled smugly making leafpool blush
“Y-yes I was about text her…but don't say it that loud I don’t wanna think about how mother and father would react” leafpool picked up her phone pulling up mothwing’s contact
“Don’t worry your secret's safe with me” squirrelflight skipped off.leafpool sighed and pulled up her phone
L: hey I just got my driver’s licence wanna go for a drive <3
M: obv
L: meet at the lakeshore near windclan?
M: yes! <3
L: it sucks we have to meet it secret
M:...there’s a way we couldn’t have to
L: wydm??? :0
M: we could run away I know you’re stressed about your doctor work anyway
L: maybe..but I’m worried about my sister you know she keeps dating bad guys
M: you could tell her she knows about us anyway
L:ok see you soon <3

Leafpool was blushing so much she loved mothwing so much but she still wasn’t sure about running away We could always come back to the clans if we needed to..I guess after all I’ve agreed to it. She walked into squirrelflight's room,her sister was sitting on her beanbag watching she-ra and eating popcorn
“Hey I need to tell you something..I’m running away with mothpool” leafpool mumbled.Squirrelflight looks surprised then nodded
“I understand..I’ll miss you” squirrelflight got up and hugged her sister starting to tear up.Leafpool exited squirrelflight’s room walking down the extravagant stairs to the lounge where her parents were sitting together
“Hi mother, father I’m gonna go for a drive.” leapool mumbled
“Of course honey have fun and stay safe” sandstorm smiled and sipped her coffee
“And stay out of trouble I don’t want to hear anything from Brambleclaw” firestar noted making sandstorm laugh
“Oh I better get off to work” Sandstorm looked down at her watch and gave Firestar a kiss on the cheek before running out the door.Leafpool followed her mother entering her car and driving towards the proposed location.
She arrived at the lake shore near the windclan riverclan border parking in the car park where she saw a figure on the lakeside.she got out her car and ran towards the figure “Mothwing!” Leafpool ran towards her girlfriend smiling as she caught the first look of her golden brown hair,golden eyes and muscular build.
“Leafy!” mothwing ran over picking up leafpool in a hug “Hihi you ready to go?or do you want to stay here for a bit?” leafpool heart was beating so fast and her face went red
“Um…we should probably go in case someone notices we’ve breached the borders..can you p-please put me down?” oh starclan she’s so hot..
“oh shit yeah..sorry” Mothwing looked over to the car park.they walked towards the car holding hands and got into the vehicle.
“Woah this is a nice car” mothwing looked around and smiled
“Yeah my family earns a lot mainly since my father is the mayor” leafpool smiled I’m glad she likes it.leafpool started to play karma by AJR on the car speaker and started the car driving away from the lake.
They had been driving for awhile and leafpool kept getting calls from her family worried about her or her mentor asking about starclan again
“Your phone keeps ringing…you look tired you should stop” mothwing looked over to leafpool making eye contact
“I’m just worried about my sister she knows i'm leaving but still- and cinderpelt keeps asking me about starclan and stuff and it makes me wonder if starclan would want me-”
“Fuck starclan we’re on the run now does it matter?” mothwing interrupted
“I guess not…but I can’t help it” leafpool started to doze off as the road they were driving felt endless.
“There’s a gas station coming up park I’ll get some gasoline and coffee and you can have a nap in the back seat” mothwing pointed over to the small outline of a petrol station coming up “ok thanks” leafpool parked and climbed towards the backseat about to lie down when her phone rang again she decided to answer it
”Leafpool are you ok are you lost?!” her mother’s voice rang through the phone
“I’m fine I’ve ran away from the clans because I’m sorry but I’m dating the riverclan doctor mothwing so we’ve ran away together” she confessed
”what?!” leafpool heard before hanging up
“You know I could take your phone and ‘lose it’ in the bathroom if you want” mothwing mumbled
“Please do I need a rest” leafpool passed mothwing her phone and lay down in the backseat
When leafpool woke up mothwing was sitting in the front seat “hey you’re up I got you your favourite” she passed leafpool a coffee cup.Leafpool took a sip,it was a cappuccino with added cinnamon sugar,the sweet and bitter flavours washed over her as she got back to the front seat and started up the car
“Thanks babe.We should probably come up with a place to go..?” she began to drive out
“Isn’t your dad’s friend’s farm nearby? We could stop there?” mothwing asked pointing to a road sign that read ‘barley and raven’s farm’
“Yeah that sounds like a good idea”
